Lauryl Glucoside is a gentle surfactant. I recently used it to make a hand soap. Unlike some other surfactants I've used, Lauryl Glucoside does not strip every oil from your skin. It seems to be relatively gentle and doesn't over do it.I would use another product if you are looking to strip oils from the skin or need a harsh cleanser for a different purpose. If you want something gentle, this is a good choice in my experience.

This is a really nice surfactant that phones up slightly, but not too much and it doesn't strip the skin at least at the percentage that I used it at so I would definitely recommend this and if you have a skincare brand, I think this is a good option for a surfactant
