I was concerned after reading the other review that the containers wouldn't close at the bottom. The ones I received did seem to open and close at the bottom as expected.This is a standard "tin" design with dimples pressed into the sides and bottom to snap together with mild pressure.Other than that, these seem to do exactly what they claim. I'm going to avoid keeping them in a wet area, though.

Great for recycling used blades.

The bottom pops right out. What is the point of a blade bank that will pop open and dump blades everywhere if dropped. Plus they are advertising that you can just toss the bank in the recycling after its full. Again the whole point is to not have blades everywhere endangering people. Also, loose blades will not be recycled. Items under 2"'s fall through the equipment and cause jams. The blades are so thin I doubt they are causing jams but they are still a sharps hazard.
