Seems to be good value, but with an oddity..
These all seem to vary depending on the size of the unit purchased, so I should say that this corresponds to the 10 liter unit.It heats, runs well.. You can actually see little water sprites dancing around in there so it seems it has the penetrating power you need an ultrasonic to have. The only problem I found was with the volume and the lid. It's less petty than it sounds, because you really need the lid. It's meant to keep the sound down and also insulate to prevent the heating cycles from cycling too much and running for too long. The lid doesn't fit. it's vaguely the same shape as the container, but not really at all like it at the same time. You can scoot it all around without obtaining an actual fit, as though it's a lid that belongs to something else. The lid is also very thin metal. This creates a couple of problems. The lid starts to chime along with the sound of the machine running, and so rather than deaden the sound, it starts to shriek along with it. It's actually resonating. If you turn it sideways it stops. I thought, oh well.. I bet I can put some tape around the inside of the lip to create a gasket to stop that and have it fit better, and it does to a degree stop some of the frequencies of clattering and buzzing from the light lid, but not the resonating shrieking.Making this thing a tight fitting heavy plastic lid would transform it, and very likely make it considerably quieter too.Shame to have made such a nice looking and seemingly well functioning unit, only to ruin it with poor fitting accessories. The lids on these units are really important.Ehh.. I'm actually a little at a loss as to whether I should keep it, and it's just because of the lid.. Crazy.

works great first day out of the box SMALL ENGINE CARBS
one of my clients re-manufacturers high end outdoor power equipment---10K units a year. The reverse logistics stream can be slow and the result is many units have "gummed up" carbs. Spray carb cleaner is effective to some extent. However, the transition holes are tiny as is the galley that connects them to the fuel source. They usually will start, but they hunt (speed up, idle down) at about 50-80 cycles a minute.i suggested this cleaner...and the first day it has worked great. 8 carbs cleaned and 100% have been perfect....even a couple that were oil clogged. 30 minutes at 50 degrees C with two in the basket. A quick rinse and air hose to dry them and no issues.Chinese unit probably won't last long. But it worked, well and with no fuss. Temp overshoots as some have mentioned. This one is 6L...and took about45 minutes to go from cold (50ish F ambient) to 50 C. Two of the carbs shown in photo fit easily.ONE OTHER NOTE.....USE STA-BIL in your fuel for your 4 cycle air cooled engines......works great and you wont have to remove, clean and replace.Just want to add that this unit has been used DAILY since purchase and has worked perfectly. Well over 250 carburetors cleaned and it is just as good as new. After nearly 5 months of daily use. and literally several HUNDRED carburetors cleaned, this is still going strong.....paid for itself in first week......has save thousands in labor and replacements......not bad for a hundred buck china made unit......bought a second one to keep up with the need

I love it in use, but during cleanup...not so much.
It's effective and with just enough volume to serve my purposes. I've been using it for a while now with a couple hours a day three days a week being my typical use (not strenuous or exhaustive use by any means), and have never had an issue in use. My only issue arises when it comes to deciding to clean the machine out. The lid and basket remove nice and easy, obviously, but the basin of fluid itself does not. If you wish to dump the water or sonic cleaning solution that you use, you must carry the whole machine to the dumping site and pour the fluid out. I don't know if this is typical for sonic cleaners or not, but I thought it worth mentioning. Regardless, though, this machine is AWESOME to use!

Great unit for a great price!
This unit has performed well without any issues. The perfect bench top unit to complement my full size industrial parts washer in my shop. Large enough to clean two motorcycle and lawn mower carbs at the same time. Paid for itself within a week of getting it.I’m using 50/50 ratio of purple power and water.Right out of the box everything worked as expected. The digital controls are easy to use and seem to be accurate. My only concern after reading other reviews was with the “heating” feature. I have not experienced any trouble with this unit after many uses. Perhaps there was an “update” with the heating element? The unit works well without using the heater but it is a nice feature to have because it shortens the time needed to clean he parts. The only negative I have with the unit is the noise level. This thing is loud! You definitely know when it’s on. If you’re used to the smaller single transformer units, you will be surprised. With multiple transformers, I suppose it’s a small sacrifice for a great cleaning job and super affordable price point. I just close the door and go about my work.Anyway, I would strongly recommend this unit to anyone.

The unit works great but the drain allows for rust
I have cleaned poker chips and plastic playing cards in my unit so far and it has done an excellent job removing a lot of ground in hand dirt. It has worked great.....However I am concerned about rust forming in the drain spout. The angle set up allows water to sit in the bottom of the pipe and threading to rust. I have resorted to turning the unit up sideways to drain, using a paper towel to dry in the pipe and spraying WD40 in there as a rust preventative after each use. If I bought another unit it would be one without a drain and be top load/empty only.

Good unit
Heats up quiet a bit during cycle. Set a lower heat setting to start.

It is too small for a carburetor!
It works great and for small thing it’s fine but you can’t get a small carburetor in it. I should of got the next size up.

This product works but not ideal for my use
This product works well. There are a few things that could be improved. It would be nice to have a drain on the tank. I the basket would be better if it used a finer mesh. It takes quite a while to warm the solution.
