PelicanCargo Cases

I frequently spend time in the woods, maintaining trails, cutting wood and just generally enjoying the outdoors. I used to keep my outdoor gear under the back seat of my pickup truck, but traded it in for a Toyota 4Runner, which doesn't allow the same solution. I wanted a cargo box that fits snuggly in the rear cargo compartment. Short of buying something custom-made, this fits nicely with about 1/2 an inch of space on either side of the Pelican cargo box when placed in the rear space. Great quality, secure and easy to access. It does slide a bit with hard stops/acceleration when on the plastic cargo mat, but not if it's sitting on the carpeted floor without the mat.

This exceeded my expectations. It is so solid and secure

After much research, decided to go with the tried and true Pelican brand for a case I can keep in the need of my truck. So many features and best part, I can lock it down, it’s air tight and my items are safe on my long road trips.

The quality was good, the lid came filled with water, I had to drill a couple small holes to drain the water so it doesn't freeze and damage it in the winter. But other than that no issues so far.

I got this to store tools in the back of my Jeep Gladiator. It fits nicely between the wheel wells and up against the cab, and the interior space is much bigger than similar boxes I looked at. I bought some black chain and combination locks to fasten it to the Jeep bed d-rings, which keep thieves from taking it, and i got similar locks for the lid latches. This box serves the intended purpose, but I have some gripes. 1) The latches are very difficult to latch once the lid is down, the middle one is overkill and not needed, and someone definitely over thought this latch design, it's "quite frankly" stupid. 2) This black plastic gets REALLY hot in the sun. 3) I wouldn't buy it again.

Solid!! Very well made! Can’t go wrong with Pelican. Bought for my 24 Tacoma. Fits perfect in between the wheel wells and under my bed cover.
