Worked great! Seems like good quality! Packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition! Starts the compressor quickly and seem to turn it a little faster that my old motor. Motor is also fan cooled. Great value!

This motor works great. It is much quieter then the other brand i was using at a fraction of the price!!

I have been very skeptical over vevor products but I have also had great luck. I purchased a very inexpensive 5 hp motor from eBay imported from China and it burned up within the first five minutes of operation, I was refunding my money and then I bought this vevor brand motor. I installed it and it’s been running strong for a few days now, I was very impressed by the quality even the packaging quality. I would definitely buy another one. It is a very good deal for the price.

Second Vevor motor I have bought for my air compressor. The first I got exactly 2 years out of before the centrifugal switch randomly broke cause it's made out of plastic and randomly decided to break right where the fingers make contact. This new motor right out of the box continually kicks the thermal protection switch after running for a bit. Even with the compressor outside in 20 degree weather the thermal kicks. Motor only gets up to like 140-150 degrees which is normal. So m going to have to pull this POS apart and swap my old motors thermal switch into it.

I inherited a 50 year old Craftsman I wanted to get going in honor of Pop. The old 1hp wouldn't start the compressor. This 2 hp was a perfect fit and worked fine. I had to switch the wiring to 110, some of the internal wire # labels were difficult to view but not a issue. Great instructions with color pictures. I like the sound of a piston pump with oil in the crank better than the pancake's buzzzzz. Will need a wire strain relief for the motor feed wire.

Just received it today since my US Motor went south on my IR compressor. Just wanted to let you all know expect 30 minutes just to get it out of the box. It's NOT a cardboard box. It came in a wooden crate with bent tabs on all sides, plus stapled. The motor is also bolted to the box bottom. Installing now and had to change the rotation. Will report back on how long it lasts. If it's built as good as the box then you should be okay. Only time will tell, and I run my compressor a lot for my business.

I got a free air compressor from my buddy, that was only supposed to need a motor, but guess what? I needed an air pump as well, so basically I got a free 80 gallon air tank lol... the motor works good, I have no complaints. It's hooked up to a harbor freight 5hp air pump and it fills the 80 gallon tank from empty to 175 in about 11-12 minutes. I'm an autobody tech and a hobbyist, so I'm running a d/a sander and an airboard sander for hours, with no hiccups and no waiting for the air to build up. Just make sure your pressure switch has a decompressor valve and the check valve for the tank is good or the compressor will not start

Packaging was the best of any order I have ever received from Amazon in over ten years! Motor arrived in perfect condition and was exactly what was described. Shipping was very fast all things considered, and the price was about half of any comparable motor. I installed it on a large two stage Ingersoll Rand compressor and it ran like a top. I highly recommend this motor and the Vevor!
