Cheap price, great performance
Great quality fan, very thin and compact for smaller builds. Along with that noise levels are quiet while airflow remains high.

Thin, quiet and pretty good airflow
I am one of those people who has a passion for quieting annoyingly noisy PC fans. Some fan noise is more annoying than others. The mere sound of spinning flan blades usually isn't as terrible as bearing noise. Noctua is my "go to" fan because they simply are the best.. no bearing noise. There isn't anything as consistently quiet as Noctua. However, I was working in a compact PC this time and designing a custom CPU cooler. Space was limited and Noctua doesn't make an 80mm x 15mm fan so I needed another option. I have used Thermalright fans before when I designed a custom cooler for one of my graphics cards and it worked well. Thermalright is the quietest alternative to Noctua that I have found. The fact that it is 2/3 the price is a bonus. I tested an 80mm x 25mm Noctua against this 80mm x 15mm Thermalright and they sounded the same to me. Granted, the specs on these 2 are not identical and my test was not using a db meter, but when I work on computers day in / day out, I am using my ears, not a db meter, so that's what matters. This fan is so quiet that I will have to rethink whether or not I need to ALWAYS spend the extra money on Noctua. It will take a couple years to answer that question fully. Noctua fans seem to stay quiet for years. I just don't have that much data on the Thermalright.

Great bang/buck
Good: + Slim / low profile - 15 mm, normally these are 25 mm. + Very quiet. + Well made. Not so good: - No markings (arrows) on the case for the direction of rotation and direction of airflow. - Wires are not color coded. All are white, except the GND has a tiny black trace. - Leaflet could've included the above, and the plug's pin out. But it didn't.

Worked great, hopefully lasts a long time.
Half-Thickness fan, but still blows a good amount of air while staying pretty quiet. I replaced another Thermalright 80mm fan that started to fail after a year. Installation was easy and it provides great cooling to my server.

Excellent Fans
Bought two of these to replace two failing fans in my HTPC server. They fit without issue. They run as they should. And pretty quiet to boot! I highly recommend.

Love it
I am very sure if you don't buy noctua, this is the best 80mm fan, Excellent quality and packaging, with complete and comprehensive accessories included, and the price is also low. I bought both the ARCTIC P8 Max and this one at the same time, and I regret it a little. Although the Arctic has a higher airflow, my case can only fit one fan, so I chose it for better cooling, but the result is that the Arctic is too noisy even my desktop is not warm.

Great for PowerMac G4 Cube
Works great in a PowerMac G4 Cube. Very quiet and moves enough air to keep a Dual 500mhz G4 cool.

Great quality vs price
I used this fan to replace a broken SFX PSU fan. Works flawlessly. The quality exceeds others I've purchased in this price range.
