We don't use this globe for educating children, rather we use it for our senior-aged selves. We keep this globe in our kitchen. It is small enough to not get in the way too much. However, as it is in the kitchen, it's always on hand when we want to find a country or city on the map, such as for planning travel, for settling debates on geography, and so on. And because it is a globe, you you get the full 3D understanding, more so than looking at 2D maps.

I've been looking for the perfect globe forever—and this is it! Unlike decorative globes, this is a real and accurate globe you can use as a reference. It's the perfect size for my desk. I'm so happy with it that I might buy another one.

Overall, the product has a good appearance, nicely built.Legibility of the small print is not good due to the overall small size of the item and the color choice for the oceans/seas. If they had made the water color a bit lighter blue, perhaps readability could be better. But I am not complaining. I used a magnifying glass to read the small print.I can't vouch for accuracy; have not studied it in detail and in any case wouldn't know what to compare it it as a standard.Fun fact: I think the earth is flat and bought this globe to more carefully think about the globe model vs the flat earth model.

Replaced an older globe, this new one has excellent detail and color contrast. For its size it is quite easy to read. Highly recommended.

I wanted a small globe for reference purposes. I was very pleased with the appearance of this product and put it on display in my den rather than in my home office, where originally planned. It's small (note the size), but I can read the place names with my usual reading glasses.The globe itself has a nice finish and the metal looks better than similarly priced plastic models.

I bought this globe in haste without regarding its size. I had to return it back as the text on each country was way too microscopic to read.

This globe was the perfect size for just having around the house. The 6.5" size may seem small, but the printing is sharp and clear. Globes show the relative sizes of areas much better than flat maps: Greenland, for example is much smaller than it appears on paper. Recommended!
