How does the warranty work on this product?

First 28 days are with Amazon/retailer you buy from and after that with Dell directly. For warranty purposes, proof of purchase i.e. a receipt should be sufficient when contacting either Amazon/retailer or Dell for repair etc.

Is this monitor fully compatible with Win-XP..? I read that an error message comes up and that Dell do not have an XP driver for it.

There are no formal Dell XP drivers for this monitor as the oldest OS they support is Vista 32-bit. However, XP can just load the generic MS drivers that will get to the HD resolution output but note it will not be optimal.

Does this monitor have hdmi and vga input?
