Makes hard to scrape plaster ans title come up with ease

I didn't expect too much out of this scraper for this price, but it broke after about 100sq feet of thin-set. The tile was already off, so it was removing only thin-set from a concrete slab. Both sides broke off exactly the same way which is pretty interesting.

I have a hammer impactor that I used to remove a bunch of tiling. While it was good, it left a lot of thinset behind. This is sharp enough and thin enough to actually finish off the rest of the thinset. It works well, installs quickly, and comes with spare parts. If you need to remove tile (particularly poorly installed tile) then this is the tool for you.

This is great for scraping glue, tiles or loose thinset. It is well made for that purpose. The blade is replaceable but you can also grind a new edge.

This floor scraper made easy work of my bathroom tile. I have previously used a sds plus floor scraper to tear up my tile in my guest bathroom but it didn't do as good of a job as this floor scraper for a couple reasons. The qualities that make this the best floor scraper that I own are: 1. The blade is sharper which creates a flatter edge to remove material cleanly. 2. These blades have a nice coating that is rust resistant. 3. This set comes with extra everything - a second blade and set of bolts and nuts. (the bolts have blue thread locker already installed and the nut is a lock nut). All the boxes are checked as this floor scraper has everything I was looking for.

Blade is sharp yet thick. This is a solid scraper that should really hold up. The fact that it can be used in a hammer drill makes it perfect for removing thin set in a bathroom or kitchen remodel.It comes with a set of extra bolts but it would have been better if it came with an extra blade. however this thick blade with a simple angle shouldn’t be hard to sharpen without weakening the integrity of the steel.

I used this scrapper to remove tile in a 8 x12 bathroom. It worked great and still looks like I’ll be able to use it in the next project. To be fair though, the tile and mortar both came up pretty easy which may have been due to it’s age. Our next project is the laundry room where I think it will be a bit more difficult to remove. The scrapper arrived fast and was very easy to use. I highly recommend wearing good knee pads!

This is a life saver when doing a bid home DIY tile project.
