Super material
Joined Pex to copper Worked great. Can't say anything bad about them. So easy, even a cave man could do it.

Good stuff
Awesome value for the money makes the job so much easier and faster. Just a great product for the price way to go. Shark bite job well done.

Worked great!
These worked great. I live in an older home built in the early 70's. The pvc and cpvc pipe is brittle. It also don't take glue well. Anytime I do a repair I use these fittings. Works the first time and no leaks!

Actually great
These seem like rinky dink nonsense, but are actually great. Quick and easy to install, easy to remove with the tool. Let's you transition between copper and PEX easily. A little on the expensive side but if just using for a quick repair they're perfect.

Easy-to-use
Love me some Sharkbites, old versions were good Sharbite Max even better, No Insert ! Most people complain they leak, Me, never had one leak and have been using them for years. You Must Mark your cpvc, copper or pex for the depth the Sharkbite requires, Do Not Guess ! Buy the depth gage or, as I did, used a vinyl cap trimmed down to the depth the Sharbite size required (depth required is found at Sharkbite web site). If you mark the depth, you will know Exactly how far to keep pushing.

Expensive, but they do work.
I bought these for some rework I was doing on my hydronic heating system. The previous owner had done some sketchy plumbing work. Since some of the plumbing is in very difficult to get to area, I decided to try these rather than sweat copper reaching into recesses (I'm just not that good). I was also converting parts of the runs to PEX, which meant trying to clamp the PEX in a recessed location. These are rated for the application and are working just fine. Been running the new system for a little over a month and, as I said, holding up fine. That said.... they are a little difficult to install if you have to reach (still easier than sweating pipe or clamping PEX). You do need to be sure they are FULLY seated.Overall... I love these. Just wish they weren't so pricey.
