These are listed as having a 3A capacity. 3 amps times 5 volts is 15W, not 5W. These will handle up to 15W just fine, despite another incorrect answer to this question.

Q: Is the tip long enough to use while a phone case is on? I find that some cable tips are just slightly shorter and don't work as well with a case on.

After buying the C Charger plug and it didn't work any faster charging my phone, I bought the cables. They didn't fit into my phone. I am not returning the plug but the cables even though they were so inexpensive I just returned them out of frustration that none of this worked for me.
