Replacement of broken wire cable.
I get the feeling that this people will expect to receive their money worth. I don't like to be expected to see this friends who have been in my shop and don't want any short cuts in my work.

Peel the wire back. Slip the Heat Shrink Tubing down one side. Use an old fashion wrap around splice, then heat shrink the tubing around it. Works better than a butt splice. Cheaper too.
