I use this for plant tissue culture at home, it's a little nicer and easier to see through than a still air box made form a tote. Overall, I think it serves it's purpose well enough and is easy to setup. It has some small issues which are probably difficult to remedy with the design... it's light so it moves really easily unless you have it well weighted and you can feel air move in and out when you move your arms simply because it moves the plastic sheeting that covers the whole thing. I guess any SAB would have air go in and out as you move simply because of displacement; however, this one probably does it a little more. The 3-layered arm holes are a nice touch, I spray some alcohol in between them when I put my arms in and out, which I hope helps prevent any microbial contamination while I work.I'm pretty new to all of this, so I don't have a lot of experience to go on. I think I'll eventually move to a cheap flow hood from etsy or create my own., but this will do for now.

Missing a connector and now I have to make a trip to the UPS to return this. Was looking forward to using it based on other reviews. Perhaps mine was a one off.edit: The seller reached out to resolve the issue. I chose to keep mine since I already did some janky work to put it together, but despite that small hiccup, the product functions great and is exactly what you would expect from a still air box at this price. The plastic layer is much thicker and higher quality than the other I purchase in the past. Not to mention much easier to clean if you get any spores or gunk stuck to them.

I'm very happy that I decided on this still air box. The frame, cover and zippers are all nice and sturdy, and it was easy to assemble and break down for storage. There is plenty of room for grain spawn bags and an impulse sealer with plenty of room left to work in. The arm holes provide a good seal and don't act like a piston creating air currents. I contacted customer service to activate the warranty and they were very friendly and quick to reply. Can't recommend this box enough!

I have used 2 other SABs from other manufacturers. This one is the best yet. It’s very roomy - 3x2x2. The plastic is pretty easy to see through, although it is subject to creasing if you take it down and set it up. ( I leave mine up.) You can use a hair dryer to minimize the wrinkles. This one has reversible zippers so you can open it from the front or back on each side. That’s handy when you need to use equipment that’s plugged into an external outlet. A bonus for me that most people wouldn’t care about is that the plastic blocks UV light. I use UV-C to sanitize the inside of the tent, and using UV detection cards, I noticed that the UV won’t pass through the sides of the tent like it will with my other tent. I still cover it and leave the room when it’s on, but good extra safeguard since there are other things in the room I’d rather not expose. I like the fact that the arm hole coverings are layered to impede air flow.One down side is that the bottom of the tent is just some kind of fabric which is not very sturdy. I recommend you buy some plastic sheets or work on an extra surface area because it’s really easy to cut with any sharp implements you are using. Don’t ask how I know…

If I could give this product negative stars I would. The plastic structure does not fit into the box. to make it fit I had to bend the frame making the sides bend inwards. whenever you open it to put stuff inside the bent frame forces itself out necessitating another five minutes of fumbling around to force it into place before you caipn z it up again. and even if the frame did work, the arm holes are covered by a fabric that you have to squeeze your hands through to get inside. so after you sanatize your hand you have to rub them against an UNSTERILE surface before you can begin work. and since the hole covers are elastic and will form to your arms the entire box moves whenever you move your hand in and out stirring up more air.

The product arrived in great condition and went together flawlessly. I read the reviews prior to purchasing, so I knew I needed to ensure the poles were fully seated in the sleeves provided. I just twisted them together firmly while applying sufficient force until I was sure each pole had completely bottomed out. The outer enclosure itself was nice and snug and it required a little bit of shimmying to pull over the frame, but I'd rather it be a little taught and snug rather than fitting way too loose. The folks complaining about the product fitment should take the time to ensure that they've properly assembled everything. A little elbow grease goes a long way! I have had ZERO issues or complaints.And can we take a second to talk about their customer service and after-sales support staff? They took the initiative to reach out to ME to make sure I was satisfied with the product and offer tips on how to properly assemble the enclosure, since some people had run into issues.*Cough* Not the product's fault. You want it to be sturdy when assembled, not loose and wobbly... *Cough*All in all, I'm extremely pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. Probably the best I've had on Amazon yet. Most of the products offered on Amazon these days are cheaply-made and low quality. I'm not going to lie, I placed my order fully expecting to be disappointed and prepared to "MacGyver" it together to make it work. This was certainly not the case. The manufacturing tolerances were perfect. The final product is a snug, taught assembly that feels incredibly stable given the materials used, and the customer support is top notch. Buy with confidence!
