These are designed really well, absolutely as seen in the product photographs - neutral, coated Kraft paper feel, pale olive green print. They peel off easily from the backing paper, but you need to take a bit of care in exact positioning and get it right, because these labels have excellent adhesive qualities - water and grease resistant, and they won't take being repositioned if you haven't got it spot on, first time. They'll take a bit of abuse once on though. They don't mind a wet or greasy fingerprint smearing them up, any gunk wipes off without spoiling or leaving a greasy mark, and the print stays intact. These are natural looking labels, and they'll look their best on natural packaging. They look fine on plain metal, glass, white, opaque or translucent plastic, and they'll look great sticking down Kraft wrappers or boxes - but they won't suit brightly coloured plastic or glass, or anything pink. If they're going on jar tops, the minimum jar top needs to be 5.5 or 6cm diameter, any less, the label will look too big for the top. Same goes if they're going to be on the side of a container. Stuck on the side of a hexagonal or curvy jar is a big 'No-No,' as I quickly found out. These labels can make a simple product look really professional and absolutely gorgeous, but they have to be decorating the 'right' container otherwise it can easily look really naff, and these labels are too expensive to waste.
