This pour-over glass cone with the bamboo base is wonderful! I switched to glass because of the plastics concern. The interior of this device is beveled nicely with a swirl pattern, so the liquid flows freely throughout. And, even though it is made of glass, it’s very sturdy and resistant to chips, dings and cracks.It has a very beautiful design as well. It is elegant in its simplicity and function. The cone, itself, is detachable from the base for ease in cleanup.I highly recommend this device for brewing 1 to 4 cups of coffee. When buying the paper filters for it, be sure not to get the kind that are squared off on the bottom. They’ll work, but since this is an open-hole design at the bottom of this glass cone, you will be better off purchasing filters that match it exactly.And, if I didn’t know any better, I would say that my coffee definitely tastes better these days!

I use this on a stainless steel tumbler (16oz) and just place it down into it without using the base.Add filter, coffee and pour in water.This won't work for a cup, but works great for up to about 12 oz. in the tumbler, which is what I want. For the cup, just keep the base unit on.One star docked as it's thin, and you have to be careful with it, but soooo easy to wash and use. Price was great.

This coffee dripper works well and the glass is of good quality. However, after three month, the wooden base started to crack, and mold began to grow under the silicone.

This is not a typical drip cone. The hole through which the brewed coffee exits the cone is a full one inch in diameter. It is so big that the hot water drains, dare i say gushes out of the cone. It’s cute but not at all functional. One star is a stretch.
