Hultafors Work Gear HT5102 Multi-Purpose Zippered Bags, Heavy Duty Ballistic Polyester Tool Carriers, Loop Closure to Hang on Tool Belts

As someone who uses a lot of different tools and hardware for work, staying organized has been a lifelong process. I build/repair automatic drivegates and home automation systems so I have to prepare for a wide range of tasks. I can be doing anything from digging structural post holes, concrete, mechanical drives, low/high voltage electrical, welding, carpentry to wiring Wiegand bridges, RFID, tag readers and advanced control boards. Keeping my tools and hardware organized and easy to access is difficult, to say the least. I found that these bags are one of the best ways to keep things together and I own at least 2 dozen from many different manufacturers. I even have some heavy duty pencil bags I found at a big box store. I'm sure there's more i haven't tried but out of all the expensive name brand bags to pencil bags I own, these are the best value, strength and size. My name brand electrical tool Co. bags are the most heavy duty but too small and costs more than twice the price. These bags are the perfect balance of heavy duty to value and I will certainly order more as my cheaper ones fail. They might even have the largest capacity as well. The pleated bottom opens up for more storage than the simple envelope style. I try to buy different brands for making identification easier but the few I have of the same shape and color, i use colored zip ties on the zipper or a dab of paint to ID its contents. I use them for drivers, bits, connectors, anchors, metal screws, wood screws, wrenches, sockets and batteries. I even use them for specific applications like pvc repair, chain repairs, electrical work and welding. These are a great way to cut time out of your day, staying organized and knowing where every tool or part is. I spent too much time looking for tools early in my career when this was a much better solution. These bags are much easier to carry and store than several tools boxes and i usually keep most of them in milk crates. Hopefully this helps someone out. Being self-taught sometimes makes more simple tasks harder, and this was one of them. This is a premium product for a value brand price. Highly recommended.

Ordered these without reservation, based on other well-made/designed products from Hultafors. Looking at these zipper bags, you can see in the details this company cares about durability, functionality and smart design. These bags are made from really tough heavy duty polyester, double stitched and made with an expanding, platform-like bottom that allows them to stand up on their own. A great idea, not only for more roominess on the interior, but it helps me when I’m digging inside the bag, looking for that smallest nut driver amongst all the large drivers. The fabric on the interior is coated (photo), so they’re also likely to be water repellant to some degree. The zipper is, what I believe to be, a YKK brand zip (looks like they have a funky new logo). A high quality zipper with only the best reputation in zipper making. These bags each have two internal sewn-in pouches (good for tiny stuff). One bag is larger (11-1/2” x 8” flat), than the other (10-1/2” x 6-1/2” flat). Both have a loop sewn into one end - smart they made them in different colors for simpler identification. They also have a smaller loop or tab below the large loop. Curious why they made the one on the smaller bag so small. I guess you can slip on a key ring or something on that one. The larger one would hold a carabiner for clipping to a belt I suppose. Great design for great possibilities. I like the way these guys think. These are the real deal - tough, smartly designed zipper pouches that will likely handle whatever you throw at them. I don’t see any real negative issues with them. I’ll be buying more because I’m in to the pouch “system” of grouping my (hand) tools.

They seem to have omitted the sizes of the two bags from the listing so: 10-3/4" x 7-1/2" & 11-1/2" x 8" Nice heavy fabric, good quality zippers, pleated expanding bottom. They each also have a pair of open pockets on the inside.

The set of two bags are s; slightly different in size but both expand with a piece of material on the bottom. The materials is very heavy weight canvas and the stitching is amazingly perfect (orange on black). The zipper is also very heavy-duty (not always found on these size bags). This is important for me as I'll be using them for tech stuff when I travel, etc. They are made of heavy-duty materials with heavy-duty zippers and will hold moderately heavy tech gadgets, and heavy tools as well. Each bag has a handle of a different color and the loop is large enough to allow me to pu 4-fingers through it securely. There is also a second smaller loop. On the largest back, that 2nd loop is a good size, on the smaller bag, it's pretty small. Inside each bag there are some side pockets although they are not designed to hold a lot of stuff, they will hold papers or directions, etc. The directions do not indicate that these bags are waterproof but they do appear to repel water to an extent. Now I'm spoiled and my other bags of similar size just don't measure up. I highly recommend these for tools and gadgets and anything you need to carry securely.

I got these bags for storing some of my hand tools. For over 140 years, Hultafors (a Swedish company, not your typical alphabet soup brand name) has been making quality hand tools, so I had high hopes for these zippered storage bags, and I wasn't disappointed! These bags are made of heavy-duty polyester with neatly done double stitching for durability. The zippers are well made and function as they should. These bags are thoughtfully designed as well, with pouches to separate items on the interior. The bags have expanding bases that can sit on a flat surface and make it easy to fully view the contents inside when the bags are open. I also like that these bags have a coating on the inside as well which may provide some protective benefit for tools stored in a potentially damp environment such as a basement. The bags have different colored hanging loops, which is clever as they are only slightly different sizes (11-1/2” x 8” and 10-1/2” x 6-1/2”) and makes it easier to differentiate the bags. I am very happy with these storage bags, and recommend them.
