Silence is great
Works as described. Very happy to have silence in rain, etc. Hope it holds out through winter temps and future. I actually have two cause of different window ac sizes.

Sleep sound
Drip drip drip from my upstairs neighbor’s A/C onto my window A/C. Just installed today before the storm & it’s so quiet in my bedroom. I can’t wait to relax in bed tonight in a peaceful environment. Highly recommend this for window A/C units even great during rain storms. The magnet is so strong it stays on.

Works Perfectly
Writing this review a little late now that the summer is over but better late than never. I have had a window AC in my room without any problems for many years, but this summer I got a new one and the first night it rained I wound up on the couch because the rain was so loud on the outside of the AC unit. I never had this problem with the other one, just a design difference I guess. Anyway, the next day I started searching online for something to absorb the sound of rain on the AC and I was lucky enough to find this! So easy, I just went outside, measured and cut the piece to go on top and I slept like a baby the rest of the summer. It lasted through lots of rain and some serious wind storms and never blew off. It also lasted all summer and is good as new now, waiting in my basement until I put it back in next summer. It also protects the top of your AC from getting filthy dirty. Great product, highly recommend.

Very quiet plus strong magnet does not move
My window ac unit not only gets rain, but run off from the roof so it gets a lot of water. I ordered the smallest size which was still too big. I noticed by laying it flat and blocking the top vents the unit was running harder, I didn't want to cut the top because that would defeat the purpose of keeping the rain out. Since the cover had excess, I moved it up some against the window, which left a gap just big enough for the unit to breathe but not let water in, it works great. No more noise, a couple times I didn't even realize it rained, even my dog is no longer freaking out. The only issue is I have only had it 3 months and the foam is already crumbling. I live in Florida so with the heat, humidity and daily storms I expected it to break down, but not quite this soon.

Completely stopped noise
Completely stopped the noise of rain hitting the metal air conditioner. I put it on right before a storm and it worked amazing. I definitely recommend this product

Didn't even know it was raining
The way my roof is sloped all the roof water was hitting my AC. It was so loud. The magnet on these words great. We have had some strong winds and they stay on. There have been 4 significant very heavy rain storms since i added these to my ACs and one of those times i wasn't even aware it was raining. Great if you are a light sleeper or work from home and need to attend zoom meetings.

Silences the drips from the roof!
This product works very well! I made a slight trim, with scissors, to one side so it would fit over the AC cover without hanging over. Before I added this pad, I new it was raining because the drips from the roof would pound out a random beat on the sheet metal box surrounding the AC. Now it's completely quiet! The magnetic side is not super strong, but the surface area makes it strong enough to keep the pad stuck to the AC cover even on windy days.
