Force RC Pulse 15e 1.4m PNP Radio Control Airplane

This is a very pretty and sporty looking airplane, but the quality of construction is not good. First of all, one of the aileron servo's didn't work at all. It uses non standard servo's in the wings, so I had to get a replacement from Horizon Customer Service, which took a long time. The collar for connecting the tail wheel was imbedded in the Styrofoam, so it was very hard to tighten and I never did get it to fit securely, so I had to opt for the tricycle gear with nose wheel after much frustration. Worst of all is the flimsy construction of the model. The Styrofoam is so thin that you can see light through the wings and the foam is easily damaged and scarred. Haven't yet flown it but it is already scarred up from handling it (hanger rash). I know even a minor crash will probably be the end of it. Looks like a good motor and servo's for the rudder and elevator. We'll see how they hold up once I get to fly it. I was expecting a quick assembly and flight readiness, but it has been months now since I purchased it and have not gotten it to the flight line yet due to aforementioned technical problems and frustration. If you decide to purchase, be sure to get the amazon accident insurance if still offered. I think this would be a great plane if more durable.
