Tamiya 77520 German Battlecruiser Gneisenau Model Kit Scale 1:700

Lovely kit when completed, the only drawback is in the stern. In my mind, it should have been one moulding, not sure why it's not, maybe so it fits in the box.

The scale is amazing such minute details and quality the accuracy is amazing. Wait till I paint it. I shall purchase many others.

Bought this for my 5 year old grandson who wanted me to build a boat for him but one "with big guns". This is an excellent model with the usual detail that Tamiya puts into their kits. I chose a waterline model as I am sure that he will take it into the bath at some point. Tamiya thoughtfully include a metal weight for the hull to make sure it floats upright. This model has a lot of very small parts so I would suggest the use of some magnifying glasses to help with the build, particularly the painting. As with most ship builds, it is advisable to paint the deck first, before assembly, otherwise it can prove difficult. I suggest using an air brush for the best finish and there are a number of economical units available on Amazon. The price for this kit was very good and overall, Grandson and me are very pleased with the end results.

Bel modello di ottima fattura ma scala 1/700 decisamente riduttiva. Acquistato uguale modello Heller 1/400, a quasi lo stesso prezzo, decisamente più soddisfacente dal punto di vista scenografico.

Modèle un peu ancien , et qui gagnerait à une cure de rajeunissement avec de la photodécoupe . Tamiya reste une marque excellente à la qualité irréprochable .

Product was excellent, size is about one foot and it requires assembling and painting. But it's a good way to keep yourself buy in free times. More like a puzzle for adults.

The battleship model is full of details and easy to build.
