Overall good product
I've used this product twice to cut my hair, and it works well for starting mid-fades. However, it tends to slip when blending on the top, likely due to the lack of hair to grip onto. My hairlines come out straighter with this tool. I would recommend it for someone who is just starting to learn how to cut their own hair.It took some time to get used to the band. I have to tighten it so much that it leaves a mark on my forehead, lol.

Looks like it will work.
Came with instructions for assembly of the hair trimming guide which could be improved but it's a simple device. I have made similar guides but this one is made of a flexible synthetic plastic or silicone that fits and grabs without slipping. Someone designed it for ease of use, and it's easy to increase or decrease the overall diameter for a good fit. The last time I got a haircut in a barber shop it cost $45 so to hell with that! Cutting your own hair has difficulties, one of them being how do you get it even in the back when you can't see what you're doing? If there's someone you trust with the cutter this guide will still make it so much easier for them on the first try. The back part, if not properly done looks terrible, but with the proper tools and practice, you can get a professional cut and then worry about the top and sides (Which are not as important as getting that back part clean and evenly done!)JUST A FEW TIPS: The cutter hopefully comes with a range of attachments that snap on or off the blade. Use the longest ones first, that cut off the LEAST amount of hair, then gradually increase how much hair you're removing. Using the guide on the back should NOT be the first thing you do. That's for when the overall hair has been shaped closer to a finished job. The last cutter attachments you should use are the shortest-cutting. The included comb is useful in holding the lengths of hair so you can cut them all about the same. You COULD just start with a really short attachment if all you want is a buzz-cut, but you can do much better than that with a little practice!

Eh… it works kind of
It does the job, but constantly slips off. I would try other brands before purchasing again.

Game changer for shaving your neck
This has changed the way I cut my hair. It's pretty easy to use, just use a mirror and your selfie camera to make sure you can see your neck. It's not uncomfortable because you can adjust the size at the front . The only hiccup is that if you wet your hair before you shave, it can slide up a bit, so make sure you're holding it with one hand and shaving with the other.

Not for people with big heads
I never considered myself someone with a big head until I tried this haircut guide. The fastening mechanism they chose requires using approx. two inches on both sides of the strap to thread it through each end of the closure, leaving enough space to secure it firmly. The issue is that once the mechanism is assembled, there's very little room for the guide to fit comfortably on your head. Additionally, the silicone material is extremely slippery, causing the fastening mechanism to come undone constantly. Since I bought it, I haven’t been able to use it properly: it fits too tightly, and to make matters worse, it slips off easily. They should have chosen a different fastening mechanism or make the guide a solid piece. I do not recommend this product.

It doesn't hold position
While it seems well made the straps are loose and they pull free while putting it on. It has to be worn very loose and wants to move when pushed against.
