Great quality brushes and nice variety of sizes. Very comparable to higher end options. I'm a sucker for things that are in containers, pouches, etc. Makes for easy setup, teardown, and transportation.

These are great sets if treated right and cleaned properly. I paint wargaming miniatures and they are fantastic. Nice variety of brushes. Obviously you could go buy the sable brushes but the grips on these are great. They take a great clean with brush soap. The case is awesome. Counldnt ask for more.

The quality of these brushes are very nice and the tips stay pointed even after quite a bit of use. I also appreciate the travel case and I like that I can slide additional brushes into it without damaging the points. The one factor that I consider a drawback may simply be personal preference. The brush hairs are very soft. They do spring back to their original position, but when I use detail brushes I prefer firmer brush hairs. This might not be something that would affect your work, but I thought it was worth mentioning if you’re considering this set.

These Kolinsky Sable brushes were so great that I bought a second set for my wife. I use them for hobby uses like painting miniatures for Warhammer 40k. My wife uses them for painting on canvas. These Sable hair brushes hold paint better than any other brushes I own (and as a hobbyist I own some expensive brushes). This set is accurately sized. This is an incredible value especially if you pick them up on sale.

The media could not be loaded. This set is even nicer than I expected. The case is high quality with a nice zipper- it’s great for keeping everything neat and organized. The handles of the brushes are nice - I like the ergonomic design that makes the brush easy to hold even with my arthritic fingers. The variety of brush sizes and bristles is great, and I’m sure I’m equipped to handle variety of painting tasks and techniques. It’s a really nice value for the money.

This set is okay for the average to below average modeler but for true fine work, look to another set. The sable is smooth and holds its shape thus far but the hair count is not correct. the 5/0 is more of a 1/0 and it progresses from there.The finish on the shaft is below average but sufficient to hold for a while. One of the brush shafts flaked upon initial inspection but has not done so since. The QA at packaging sent me 2 #5s instead of a #4 and #5 as advertised, but those are rarely used and will be fine for both applications.The case is good quality but the zipper tab disintegrated and I had to use an old key chain in order to use it. Works well as a place holder when working and should last quite a while.Overall, fair set of brushes and as mentioned above, will work well for the average modeler. Don't expect to be painting fine details on your miniatures and you will be fine with this set.
