Wow, how I have improved my "PEE O'clock". This is the first supplement to markedly improve lowering my bathroom pee trips. I highly reccomend!

Great product. My only complaint is the size of the bottle. The bottle is only 1/3 filled. Like we need more plastic. Save on shipping and waste.

Before I started taking these. along with my other dietary supplements, I was waking up 3-6 times a night feeling like I had to pee. After I started taking these, by the 3rd night, I was only getting up once a night. By the end of a week, I often slept through the night without any interruption. During the second week I did wake up a couple of nights, but it was because my bladder was actually full, not just feeling like I needed to pee, but because I actually did need to pee. Now, I really didn't expect it to work all that well. From what I read online about prostate supplements in studies it usually took 2 months to see improvements, so I ordered a 4 month supply to see if it made any difference in the time period indicated by studies. I cenrtainly didn't expect such fast and dramatic results. I even waited until the end of the 2nd week to be sure it wasn't just some sort of placebo effect, but as I didn't expect much, that seems unlikely. Now, this worked for me. That doesn't mean it will work for every person. I am 61, eat healthy and exercise regularly and am in generally good heath, and do not take any prescriptions, although I do take a lot of dietary supplements. When it comes to supplements, I stick to brands which independent labs found actually contain what the labels say, such as Life Extension, Nature Made, and Trader Joe's. There are many unethical supplement companies that sell you crap that doesn't do anything, while there are others that just have very poor quality control. Check out the manufacturer's reputation BEFORE purchasing and do your own research to be sure your get quality supplement products. At this point, which my current supply of this supplement runs low, I intend to repurchase it, as I intend for it to be a part of my regular supplement regime. My greatest concern was how prostate problems interrupted my sleep. Interrupted sleep is a definite known problem that can lead to dementia later in life. As my oldest brother died of dementia related issues, my interrupted sleep became a concern. Another finding is that low vitamin D also is associated with dementia later in life. As to other age related problems caused by the prostrate, my sex drive is still absent, although I have notice an increase in night time erections, so that may eventually return. I am not all that concerned about that. I am happy being single and sex would just make my life more complicated. My sex drive died when I was on a drug for leukemia, almost ten years ago now. I suspect that my body used up nutrients to try to neutralize and expel the cancer drug, which would otherwise have ben used to produce sex hormones. So, it is possible my sex drive may eventually come back, but so far, no, it hasn't. But it has only been two weeks.

My 84 year old prostate needs help. I've been taking tamsulosin for a couple years with some beneficial results. I increased my dosage to two pills/day. Made me tired and almost zombie like........and the frustrating sexual side effect got worse. ( yup, I am still potent ) Started this product a little over a week ago and my urine stream got stronger, and those times when it just would not start, like in the middle of the night, improved greatly.

It pains me to give this product 1-star, because this formula, itself, is excellent and I have been using it for several years with good results (e.g. low PSA). Unfortunately, I have noticed a growing trend lately that has become a full-blown problem. I believe the issue is the lack of proper storage conditions in the Amazon warehouse and / or their delivery vehicles, both of which are not likely not air-conditioned. Disclaimer here: the package was not sitting out side and was picked up as soon as it was delivered. As you can see from the picture of the bottle I took, exposure to extreme heat warped and bloated the it severely, fusing the gelcaps on the inside into a single, unmovable mass. Many of the products containing polyunsatured fats that I have purchased through Amazon over the last 1-1.5 years have been coming to my door fully oxidized / rancid (which you can test by opening the gelcap and putting a small amount in your mouth). Smell can also be a telltale sign. I didn't bother even opening this bottle. This is a serious problem. If it were just regular tablets / powders, then it wouldn't be of much concern, but polyunsaturated fats are highly vulnerable to light and high temperatures. The oxidized byproduct is extremely reactive with cells inside the body, causing massive oxidative stress. In fact, one of the reasons I stopped buying Nordic Naturals DHA Xtra through this channel was because it was consistently causing headaches, nausea, and feelings of unwellness --- all signs of oxidative burden. Anyone that has half an education in biology will understand the implications of mishandling supplements like this on health... inflammation, cognitive decline, and worst case, cancer. Not my opinion, scientific fact. That said, I urge everyone to categorically avoid purchasing any gelcaps through Amazon, at a minimum those that contain PUFAs (polyunsaturated fatty acids). It's quite clear they do not understand the health risks nor consider customer safety a top priority. I will be ordering this product directly from LE from now on, and you should as well.

This prostate formula works better than most for BPH. Will continue using it. Life Extension, or their production department need to step up the quality control on this product. I’m not the only buyer to count the number of caps in a bottle and note the leakage mess with each bottle. Only 55 in my recently received order thru Amazon - bottle state’s quantity 60? (is Amazon using a different supplier?). Should we be buying direct? And most annoying, these caps are not properly sealed in production. Cap oil all over entire quantity of product in bottle. Pour out onto a paper towel and you can see the mess and leaking caps. Take a cap in between your fingers and just gently squeeze, and they oss liquid along the seam lengthwise. Production has a major QUANTITY CONTROL ISSUE. (this is supplement that I don’t get to use due to it leaking from most of the caps, and because I’m not getting the correct quantity of caps in the bottle.) Last month, received a bottle just as we were leaving on a two week international travel trip. Talk about a frustrating mess that was to deal with and I had no way to get a new bottle of the supplement in Belize. I just had to sort them, and store in zip lock bags to keep from getting it all over everything and my travel clothing. As noted I will continue purchasing and using this prostate formula, because it’s one of few that helps. BUT, I will continue to expose the production issues to both Life Extension and Amazon customer service. Please fix your product.
