Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish Color Grip Primer and Base Coat| Salon Quality, Gel-Like Formula, Two-Step System, No UV Light Needed, Long Lasting | Clear, Glossy

I had purchased a bottle of the base coat from this brand on clearance at a local drugstore (the reason my nails are pink in the photo). I tried just using the pink polish without the suggested "step 2" top coat...and it was almost immediately chipping and scratching off...worse than any other polish I have tried...but despite that issue, I could only remove that stuff with straight up acetone polish remover, the gentle kind doesn't touch it. I decided to invest in this top coat, because I figured I need it to get any wear out of the base coat polish...and also that I could use it as top coat for other types of polish, and even use it to accent crafts projects!! Win-win. This polish might be the most beautiful nail polish I have ever seen! Yes, there's thousands of contenders, true, but there's just something so ethereal and beautiful about this polish in the bottle--photos don't do it justice. I think it would actually look better with a cooler color like blue or green for the base coat...but I had put it on over the pink one. It does look unique and quite pretty in person. Also, I painted my nails several days ago and have been clearing out an estate, moving furniture, boxes, books etc and painting, with very very minimal wear! No need for a touch up which is amazing!! I did apply 2 or 3 coats of both the base and this top coat. No UV curing needed. It dried reasonably fast too. I highly highly recommend this polish. On the nails, it looks like a very fine chartreuse shimmer, slight chameleon effect. I don't personally think it looks the same as UV cured gel polish. It still looks very good and I don't hesitate to recommend it. It's worth the price for sure! Also, I have read other reviews, not sure if it was for this top coat or a different one from this line complaining that nail polish remover won't cut this. Based on my experience with the base coat alone, you might need straight acetone to remove it, but I'm not sure, just saying this because one brand of polish remover I tried didn't work at all. I am very impressed with the performance of this product, and will probably buy more from this line in the future!

I love this polish. I’ve gone through more than a few bottles. It’s my go-to quick polish that I can do myself in a hurry. I do just this color, which is pretty, and if it gets on my skin I can easily wash it off. This comes on particularly helpful because I work a job where I can’t wear nail polish, so I often throw it on Friday after work and look cute for the weekend.

OMG I love this top coat polish! My nail Polish has never stayed on longer than 3 days without chipping. I am on day 5 and they look great. I do dishes and clean and run after 2 grandson 5 yr and 7 yr. I give this product a 10 if I could.

Nice light white. Held up well. Unfortunately for me, I'm allergic to Gel as I found out.

Ok, I got this cause I'm tired of nail polish chipping and don't always want to pay for the salon. I happened to get this on sale for $4, but I'd gladly pay full price with what I know now. I bought gel color polish too, but I have a favorite nail color that I couldn't find in gel. I put on my regular nail polish (ILNP brand, so decent quality) and then I put this top coat... I did two coats per the bottles instructions. It is day 7 and my nails haven't chipped. Like not even a little. I'm shocked, amazing, thrilled, **insert excitement adjective** If you have regular nail polishes that you love but are tired of them chipping 2-3 days after applying. Get this top coat! It'll get you at least a week, and I'm thinking probably longer!

I'm hooked on Sally Hansen Miracle Gel nail polish. After buying my first bottle, I can't stop buying more. Miracle Gel Shiny Top Coat makes my nails look amazing, I've never had them look so good from using any other brand nail polish. I highly recommend both the Miracle Gel nail polish along with the Miracle Gel Shiny Top Coat, you won't be disappointed. The price is great, and the variety of color is even better.

I wanted so badly to be excited about this nail polish and have it work, but in reality it only stays on for a couple days and it’s already chipping and peeling off. I have done my own gel nails for years. It was wanting just a quick alternative for when I didn’t want to take the time to do a full set of gel and this polish was for the most part of huge disappointment. Sadly, I will not be buying any more of their colors and I don’t recommend it.

Top coat Sally Hansen, de lo mejor que he probado. El pincel es una auténtica pasada, lo que facilita mucho la aplicación al ser plano. No se apelmaza ni es denso como otros de otras marcas. Acabado gel ultra brillante. Protege el esmalte y hace durar el color 7 días o más. Lo recomiendo

Expected it to be more shiny but it’s quite flat. Glad I got it but for the price I maybe won’t but again but we’ll see after a few more uses. It looks better sat on top of a colour rather than alone.

I haven't used this primer before and I've only used it twice but I have noticed my polish lasts longer. So far it's been a great product. I do use Sally Hansen miracle gel polish and top coat with it and really happy with the quality.
