Under Armour Men's Charged Cotton 2.0 Crew Socks (8 Pack)

What I love about Under Armour socks is that when you purchase size XL, you get XL. I'm tall and have size 12 US / 46 EU, EE-wide feet. This is my fifth model of Under Armour XL-sized socks. Some have been cotton like these and some synthetic for my workouts at the gym. I even have their boot sock model which are knee-high. Great as dress socks. So these, as with all UA socks, fit my big, wide feet just fine and UA socks never quit (slide down your legs). That's the other really great thing about UA socks. They don't quit which is so annoying with many other brands. Tip: Launder these inside out the first few times. UA cotton socks have a lot of lint in the beginning so wash them inside out the first few times to get rid of it, otherwise you'll have black lint on your feet every time you take them off for quite a while.

At first impression, I thought these Under-Armour socks might possibly prove to be the best all-around men's socks I had ever owned or purchased, but after a few short weeks of use, I quickly realized otherwise. The cotton fabric is a perfect mid-weight cotton . . . the sizing is great . . . and the height of the sock on the calf is ideal, but unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. Sadly, the elastic-like band of material (about 2" wide), that runs around the entire circumference of the foot near the physical center of the sock (i.e., the instep), is excessively constrictive, causing some swelling of the foot, even to the point of throbbing. However, the worst part of them by-far, is the shed-prone fluffy cotton material that they're made from. The shedding of small- to medium-sized puffs of black yarn from these socks is SO bad, that it makes them completely unworkable. If I make the mistake of wearing these socks around the house on our tan-colored carpets, the entire house soon looks like a bomb filled with black lint had exploded. Its simply ridiculous! Sorry Under-Armor, but you folks sorely need to re-think your choice of cotton fabric.

These socks are good. I got them because I kept getting holes in the toe in any other socks, and these are thicker at the toe. The hold up better than the other brands. After a day of walking all shift, these only have a small hole (wouldn't even allow a #2 wooden pencil through) whereas all the other brands end up with a hole bigger than a quarter in them. The problem is that I wear boots that have a composite toe and my big toe rubs again the composite toe and causes the holes. For this reason, I give it 5 stars. However, when I switch to my new boots (soft toe), if it keeps happening and it appears to be an issue with the sock rather than my feet, I will be back to take away a star.

Finally, athletic crew socks that fit. For me, These are for winter use only. They are comfortable and warm. The material seems to be of very good quality. I liked the first bag so much, I ordered a second. If you like thick and warm athletic crew socks that fit; these may be for you. I purchased the medium size and they fit great; finally an athletic sock that fits to your size! Thank God! After years of one size fits all, which fit guys with large feet; NO more; finally found affordable socks that are comfortable, warm, and just FIT!

Before these I've always been the type of guy to buy the cheapest socks at the cheapest store. I didn't think there was any difference in socks. After a few months of using these I am ruined for other socks. These are just too comfy. One complaint is I have noticed holes in some of them after only about 2 months but I still continue to only buy these ones.

The socks fit my size-10 feet very well; the material is soft and works well as a pseudo dress sock.Why 4 out of 5 stars? Every single time I wear the socks, I end up with black sock lint fibers on the bottom of my feet and between my toes. I find myself spending a couple minutes collecting lint before getting into bed.

I wear a size 13 shoe and I bought the XL size they fit great and snug like a fitted shirt or suit. I like the high cotton content. I have to wear black socks at work and I'm on my feet all day moving around so I found other synthetic materials to become itchy and scratchy when my feet sweat. My previous pair of socks were also made out of a high cotton content but fit more sloppy fitting.

Under Armour makes the best socks and underwear. I'm in the military. I use these as PT socks and boot socks. -1 star because as much military sales under armour does, we aren't allowed to have showing logos and I wish UA would put the logo out of sight while wearing shoes on some of it's stuff.

I thought I was ordering All White socks half of them wear black. I don't like black socks

Very happy with the fit and material of these socks. I was looking for decently thick socks and these did the trick for me.

These are great socks and just what I was looking for.I have size 8 men's/10 women's feet and the mediums fit perfect.My boyfriend has size 9 feet and the mediums fit his feet perfect too.

very comfortable and perfect size for my son who is 10; not too big and not too small.

Hard to find size 13 compatible sport Sox. The price is right too.
