Cut through metal water pipe easily
I needed a spacer for an engine output shaft and had a length of old metal water pipe that was the perfect OD/ID. I put this blade on my compound power miter saw and was able to cleanly cut off the length needed. I made a test cut, and two more final cuts and the blade worked well. A nice option to have in my workshop.

Great for EMT Conduit—Cuts Cleanly, Producing Well-Formed Chips. Excellent Value
Great for cleanly cutting EMT mild steel conduit. I have cut a lot of 1" and 3/4" EMT with no signs of dulling the 8-1/4" 48T Ferrous Metal/SS/Mild-Steel blade. One reviewer posted that on the reviewer's table saw, the reviewer concluded the blade acted more like an abrasive wheel. My experience is exactly the opposite. Cutting mild steel thin wall electrical conduit ("EMT"), there is absolutely no question that this blade produced well-formed chips, cutting in an excellent fashion. I would definitely purchase this blade again. I strongly recommend the product. It is a great value.

Grinds rather than cuts
I bought this blade to cut a piece of 20 AWG embossed stainless steel sheet to size, on my DeWalt table saw. The blade comes with a hole to fit a 1-inch arbor, but it comes with a spacer washer to fit a 5/8-inch arbor on the saw. It works more like an abrasive cut-off wheel than a saw. It forms a red-hot strip of kerf, so be sure to wear safety glasses. It did a fairly neat job, with a slight burr to the edge of the cut.

Only blade needed, enough said
These blades put competitors to shame and the cost is a nothing in comparison!! Blade has lasted me twice as long while maintaining the same speed and power. I buy my cut off wheels, flap discs and now these blades from Benchmark Abrasives and won't go anywhere else!

did the job, cut metal roofing panels
I wore goggles, but if I were to do this again I would have worn ear protection. screaming loud. Also the metal chips were extremely fine, more so that I was expecting. they got everywhere, embedded them selves in the soles of shoes and in the most unlikely places. Splinter-fine. Next time I would have used a drape cloth and been more concerned with containment.

Great blade. Will buy more.
Installed on my makita cordless small circular saw for cutting conduit and pipe. Have been running it for a few months and it is holding up very well. Blade stays sharp and fits well. Cuts fast.

Starts out great....
On the first cut or two you think you've found a great new product, by cut number three you're working to get it to cut straight, by cut six you're working to get it to cut at all, then at some point it simply says "That's it, I'm not cutting another millimeter." To twice rip a 12" piece of 1/4" (6 mm) mild steel (4" box profile), I used up one $55 10' Benchmark blade, then to make 8 crosscuts in what was now 4" 'C' channel it burned up a $33 9" Benchmark blade. At the final 1/2" of cut, the blade said "no more" and only by rotating the work upward and downward into the blade for about one minute was I finally able to chew through that last 1/2". Good blade, but doesn't last in steel.

Great cuts and longevity for the price.
Great cuts and longevity for the price with my Milwaukee 8 inch metal saw.

They last for a LOT more cuts than Diablo, Makita or Irwin blades of the same type. Much cheaper too. I swear by these cutting steel pipe for work.
