Cafe expresso
This coffee is absolutely amazing. The flavor is rich, bold, and smooth — just like real Cuban coffee. It reminds me of the traditional espresso from back home. The aroma fills the whole kitchen, and every cup tastes fresh and full-bodied. If you love strong and delicious Cuban-style coffee, this one is perfect. Highly recommended!

Taste on a Budget
I’m really impressed with this espresso. The flavor is bold, but not bitter, with a surprising smooth finish. It’s a great start to an incredible latte. It gives a great kick in the morning with more caffeine it seems than the green coffee store brand I normally go for. For the price, the quality was better than anticipated. The beans were fresh and rich, truly you’d expect something in a higher price point. Definitely worth grabbing if you want a great espresso bean.

Old Havana - Excellent - Espresso Not as Good
So much better than others I've tried over the last year. Rich, full body, heavenly aroma, good creme. This is what coffee should be. As soon as I opened the bag, the whole room filled with such a memory of days gon by and how coffee used to smell. This has it all, Aroma, taste everything y ou could want. You'll not be disappointed. Update: I re-prdered the Old Havana but added a bag of the Galvina Espresso. For my taste the Old Havana is superior. The espresso did not have an aroma like the Havanna does and also tastes a tad stale. In the future I'll stilck with the Old Havana.

Amazing Espresso Beans
We use it in our Breville and it is fantastic. The shots pull with a beautiful amount of crema and the smell and taste is very rich and taste like caramel. These are fantastic beans.

Our go-to daily beans
Have tried numerous other beans for our Breville espresso machine, these Gavina beans have the best combination of depth, boldness, smoothness, and flavor. Dozens of bags now, all good.

TRULY EXCELLENT.
Gaviña’s Nuevo Mundo Whole Bean really IS a TRULY excellent, “bright” but well-balanced coffee with a genuinely smooth finish, a very high quality coffee product stemming from its fantastic source blend of Arabica beans and exceptional “medium” roasting. When freshly ground, 1.5 tablespoons for a 6 oz cup via drip brewing makes an incredibly great-tasting cup that holds up perfectly even with a dollup of cream (or quality non-dairy equivalent such as Nutpods’ Original Unsweetened with perhaps just a smidgin of sweetener if you so choose). I find it to be VERY close if not identical in taste profile to a *freshly-brewed* cup of McDonalds’ in-restaurant, likely better. At $16/pound it’s not cheap but given its exceptional flavor and needing only 1.5 tablespoons per 6 ounce cup (or 2 tablespoonfulls at max) I think it to be superior to even a genuine straight Jamaican Blue Mountain to tell you the truth.

Tried this for first time. Smells and tastes great. Likes my coffee strong and this provides the punch at a reasonable price. Will come back for replenishment once done.

I was excited to try this Cuban coffee and wanted to like it. Though this is 100% arabica, I found Lavazza Gold (arabica robusta blend) to be much better tasting - I drink espresso (no milk) and use a semi automatic machine. This Gavina tastes flat and bitter, for lack of a better description. I prefer the bright fruity notes of the Lavazza Gold.
