Don’t listen to the other reviews. I had trouble but then looked at instructions. It’s not easy to close because it’s new. Make sure to insert bottom near key ring first, then push sides then top.

Poor quality! The tabs to secure the internal battery cover are to small. Once you install all of the internal it does not stay securely in place. Don’t waste you money.

Like others said, the battery separator and the little cushion are not included, but I was able to remove them from the old fob and install on the new one. It's true that it takes a little while to get the middle section (holding the battery) snapped back on the front section (with the buttons). Took several attempts. Pay attention to the groves in the middle section as they go under the groves in the top section. I started top right and moved around counterclockwise. Once it snaps into place, the middle section will lay flat on the top section. If not flat, then one of the groves in the middle section is not popped into place underneath the top section. Don't attempt to put on the back section until the middle section is laying flat on the top section. Then install the bottom section of the fob, starting at the bottom and then the top. I hope this helps someone.

High quality exact replacement for the case of my 2017 ford platinum F-150 key fob. Seems to be well built. Watch the review video for additional details. The case fits well and I had no problems with it not closing like some of the other reviews mentioned. Great buy for the price. It actually seems a bit heavier than the factory case. Would recommend this one over several others seen on Amazon.
