Amazing worlds & plots twists
Amazing story yet again, didnt see the ending coming though, at all. Thoroughly loved all the characters. Even the ones that had a different ending that i was expecting.

a continuation of an amazing series.
its a rich, deep story without a heavy focus on status screens, good world building and decent characters. I like it.

best one in the series
Best one of the 3. First book was good and different enough to keep me interested, the 2nd I found dragged at times. This book kept me going from start to finish with a few hours sleep in between so about 14 hours well spent.

It's hard to rate this book
In some ways I want to give this a 5 star review, in other ways more like a 2. I did really enjoy reading most of this book, and the series in general. Assuming you liked the first 2 books enough to look at this one then I expect you'll enjoy this one too, until the ending which might go either way.Spoilers follow. There were two big things about the ending which I disliked. Firstly we do not see Luke's final journey through MurderWorld, which is very strange as that has been a huge part of the story so far. Did he ever reach Zone 50? How did he figure out the need for balance? Did he ever meet the lurking entity? It seems insane to me that the author just had this all take place "offscreen" after all our time following Luke earlier. The second thing is Zed's story, which was the framing device of the series. Honestly, I've always thought this was the worst part of these stories as I find Zed quite annoying when he's on his own. Well, turns out Zed has been planning to murder the world for personal power this whole time, and the final pages of the book at him announcing this and carrying it out. This could be very interesting if the series was to continue, but the afterward makes it clear that this was a trilogy and it's finished. Of course, there could be books outside of this trilogy which continue the story, but I cannot know if this will happen at this point. If this does turn out to be the starting point for a continuation series it's all good, but if this is the end of the story it is very unsatisfying.

love the series but too many loose ends
Pretty much as my title said.Really enjoyed the book. But felt like the ending with Luke going back to murder world was rushed alongside there being so many questions unanswered.I hope there is at least 1 more book added that can answer these questions, then I’d prob change my review to a 5/5

So many loose ends
Coming into this book I had some burning questions. The main one of which is who is the secret mentor to Luke living in Zone 50? Among others.Nothing actually gets answered. It’s like this entire series is just a set up for another one at some point. There’s no conclusion, nothing, just a big “Wait until the next series”.Dakota Krout, the master of starting series and then utterly destroying them by the end.

Great Read
Really enjoyable read.looking forward to more. Luke is fun to read with his ease at times to see deeper meaning in what's happening around him.
