Does this come with any instructions or tips for building 3d structures or other more advanced domino runs?

No. There are no such instructions with this kit. Building complex sequences is very time consuming, and requires many failed experiments. There are lots of YouTube videos which show different designs that have worked eventually.

Can you buy extra templates?

I am sorry I only purchased the one set. I am not sure you can buy extra templates apart from the current order.

Is this suitable for 11 year old boys?

Yes my child was 10 last Christmas and is 11 now. I would say good for beginner since there are only 100 pieces. Our 5 year old plays with them too.

Nice set for dominos knock down fun

Well made, accurate and consistent dominos. Note--these are only for stacking/knocking down...there are no dots on them. Includes a guide to help place them accurately, but I found it to be of dubious use.Recommended.

Love the Disney set!

Bought a set when this went on sale. My 5-year-old boy loves it so much I bought two more sets when they went on sale again! Great quality for the price if you can get them on sale!

Awesome Dominoes!

My kid has some cheaper flimsy dominoes, but these are next level! He was watching Lily's videos on YouTube and requested a set of these. They had a great weight and feel to them, and they almost never fall down on accident when building. I'll definitely be buying more of them!

Worth it!

I love these. They are durable and colorful. The booklet has enough examples to start off your domino line up. Its super easy to follow and anyone can use this set.
