Great story
I love Piper and Blue's story. It had some twists that I didn't see coming. Overall it was a story about overcoming odds and difficulties in life. I liked that it felt with mental illness in a respectable and honest way. As a person who deals with mental illness it was refreshing to see it handled in such a fashion. Also as a person who's dealing with a significant others suicide I like how the author reflected on how loved ones deal with it. This book was kinda emotionally heavy but in a good way. A definite five-star read.

I got my heart broken with this book.
Put it straight through the meat grinder … and it was totally worth it.Shelf of Fame + Top 3 Read in 2024. Yessir, THAT GOOD - but Carian Cole makes you work like a beast for that HEA.....If you've read her other works, you'll know that writing top notch emotional angst, pain and longing are a just a regular Tuesday in her world. She is a master story teller and I was enraptured for a few hours; completely submerged into Piper & Blue. I'm still trying to figure out how exactly she reels you in but I think it's because, in this case, Piper & Blue/Evan are flawed people with flawed decisions and journeys. There is a part of all of us that relates to their experience, if not in this exact way. Wanting something so badly and not knowing how to make it work; literally so close and yet so far. It's hard not to keep orbiting back in the hope that this time might be different. But damn - Piper & Blue are 2 sexy as all-hell, addictive characters and it's really hard to accept their journey with you has ended with the epilogue.I also don't think romance writers get enough credit for the intelligent and layered plots that they construct; people assume it's all spice (and sometimes it is). No Tomorrow is a very complex, heavy plot woven with tough themes on mental health and substance abuse that batter a budding relationship and continue to storm around it, for almost it's entirety. This is not a fast fiction spice read. There will be tears, so please hydrate. It's a beautiful story - so much heartache, loss, grief, anger - but also love, light and hope to balance it out. I loved the MCs, loved the story, loved Acorn & Lyric. I'm just sad that it's one less Carian Cole book that I'll get to read for the first time - but it's ok - I believe the meat grinder takes repeats.

Okay Book
Hmmm...this book was ok. The overall storyline was good, and can open peoples eyes and mind to certain struggles in life. I just feel that the book didn't have to be as long as it is. It took me a few days to read and not because it was over 600 pages, but because it didn't pull me into it as some other books do. I did read it entirely because I wanted to know how their story ends. There were moments that had me laughing and others that made me sad. This was the first book I've read by this Author and if all her books are like this, I don't know. One thing that would've been nice is to have more years shown at the beginning of the chapters. Only a few were shown that way, and to me I liked to see how many years have passed, etc. Like I said, it's not horrible, has a good storyline, but left me feeling meh and that kinda sucks after reading over 600 pages. I don't know how to really explain it lol. Still gave it 4 stars I guess.

emotional rollercoaster
holy moly. I feel like i just survived the craziest ride. This story was not what I expected when i read the blurb. It was so much more. I have felt all the emotions that Piper felt loving Blue. Like most love story’s, it’s not easy and simple. It’s ups and downs and flips and time and change. at his story seamed real. I’m so happy that Piper and Evan got a HEA. I do wish a bit more detail went into the other characters and their relation with the mains. It would have made it seem even more real and make us understand certain feelings. I also would have lived a little more of lyric, she is who they both are and making us fall love and understand her POV would have added more depth. But that would only add extra sparkle to this amazing story. LOVE! Highly are recommend.

LONG ONE, but necessary
Such an emotional, difficult read. It’s definitely long but I think necessary to get all the pieces… I know for me when starting a book like this I need to know if there’s a HEA or if I’ll be shattered… there is one but it definitely takes the entire book to get there. I feel like reading this book vs listening to it was the better option at least for me the audio didn’t hit right and the male narrator doesn’t come in until 70% of the book and it’s only a few very short chapters.

I wasn't a big fan but I'm glad mental health was a topic
The whole book I didn't care for piper and blue that much I felt like their romance was kind of off but not to the point where because of the circumstances I just felt like she was too much head over heels over a guy in vampire ties her personal life and at the same time she is young but then the pregnant happened and then him leaving her and then there was years later I think deep down she should have never been with blue at all but I am glad that the topic of mental health was a huge topic and that they got him help but I still stand by my decision the book I like that mental health was a big factor in it but them being and game wasn't much for me

My husband sent me this book and..
At first, it took me a little bit to get into, but with the review I saw on tiktok and reading the book I was intrigued. Im glad I kept reading. It got better and better and the beginning stuff that was off to me made perfect sense. Ending is beautiful.

4.5 stars
This book is so good. I love reading about toxic and heavy romances and this was exactly what I needed. Thank you Carian! Towards the end I was so scared every thing was going to come crashing down. So happy we got a beautiful ending. This book is over 600 pages and honestly it didn’t feel long at all. I loved this book and the side characters. I will be recommending this book to everyone. Now I wish I had another book that has this same type of love. I loved that there was no 3rd act break up either. Will be reading more of her work because the way this book was written so well with a realistic feel was everything.
