I absolutely had to review this blanket because I couldn't believe how well it worked. I just recently rescued a senior chihuahua. I wasn't sure how well she'd take to potty training, so I ordered this in advance. Turned out that wasn't my issue... It was getting her on a leash and outside! Like you'd probably expect, she is just as defensive as she is cute.The first night she bit my hands bloody, and I just had to give up because I was really stressing her out. She still had no reason to trust me, after all. What I was really worried about was her holding in her pee and getting a UTI, though. Luckily for me, she decided to pee right onto this blanket! I was astonished at the fact that there was zero sign of it on the other side, despite the fact that she let out a good amount (for a 10lb dog, that is). I threw it into the washer, and it came out like brand new. I then sprayed some calming pheromones onto it, and she obsessively rubbed her face into the fabric! And for those who like happy endings; that was the only accident she's had, and she lets me dress her now with little to no issue. She's a very good girl!As far as actual blankets go, it's also really comfortable and soft. You wouldn't know that it's waterproof unless I told you - or you spilled something onto it. I just love it! It'd be one of our best pet blankets even if it wasn't waterproof!

This is a nice, soft blanket that looks great on my bed. I would probably order a bigger size to cover my Queen sized bed completely, but this covers a lot of it. My cat LOVES sleeping on it and has quickly claimed it as her own.It’s also very absorbent, which does make it a pain to wash. Due to the smaller size and the instructions to wash separately, it frequently unbalances my top load washer. Even after spinning, it still also has a lot of water in it, and has to be hand-rung before going in the dryer.

This is a great blanket that we throw on top of our bedding so our dogs can still sleep with us. The dogs love it and it feels very soft and not like plastic. When my dog experiences an accident it does prevent liquids from going through and we just toss it in to wash when we wake up.The two downsides to this blanket:1. It takes a long time to dry. You're not supposed to put in into the dryer for too long so we end up hanging it out to dry which can take a few hours depending on the weather (we live in a dry state).2. It doesn't breath well. I guess this is probably a given for what it accomplishes, but when I am laying under this blanket I feel like it is trapping moisture and making it stuffy under the covers.

Anyone who loves cats knows that they do smile - sometimes with their eyes and sometimes with happy paws when kneading something soft. I just received this and am very pleased with the quality and softness of this blanket. I didn't rate the water resistance or cleaning factor because I haven't had the opportunity for either. But it's a great way to keep cat hair off the couch. I plan to buy another for my bed!

So far so good! We haven’t had any accidents but the blanket matches our couch and looks very nice overall. It’s super soft and the dog loves it. We got it as a precaution incase if any pee incidents. We don’t want him to feel like he can’t be on the couch or bed in his best years.

This is my 4th couch cover I’ve ordered. Even tho this isn’t a couch protector this does the best job out of all of them I’ve tried. I have 3 dogs and one who has a bladder problem and pees in her sleep/when scared or excited. You can blot the pee off without even throwing it in the washer if you needed to. Definitely going to buy more

We had a very senior dog with urinary incontinence. We were having to wash her dog bed constantly. We would put adult XL bed pads on them but with her moving around they seemed to never be where she peed. So I tried this throw and it worked. It stayed put better than pads and caught all her pee. Bed did not get wet underneath. We just threw it in washer and dried it on low in dryer and it was good to go back over bed.I recommend this product.

This blanket is soft and comfy for the dog, Love that it's reversible and our dog loves that she can scrunch it up when she sleeps. It is waterproof and if the dog has an accident, it soaks into the blanket, keeping underneath dry. Washes and dries nicely. Highly recommend!!
