I recently purchased this chainsaw from Dong Cheng, and I have to say, it has completely blown me away. The cutting performance is phenomenal — every cut feels razor-sharp and extremely precise. It slices through wood effortlessly, making tough jobs feel easy. What impressed me even more is the price. Compared to the big-name brands, this chainsaw is much more affordable, yet it delivers the same (if not better) results. Honestly, I don't see any reason to spend more when this tool does such an incredible job. Not to mention, it comes with two big, powerful batteries that last a long time and take less than 20 minutes for both to fully charge. That means way less downtime and way more getting work done. If you're looking for a powerful, precise, and budget-friendly chainsaw, I highly recommend giving this Dong Cheng model a try. You won't be disappointed!

This thing can cut! Well balanced saw, fast charging batteries, decent run time. Love that it runs an Oregon bar and chain. Self oiler keeps the bar nice and lubed.

The first one I received I noticed that the chain oiler was not working after using it for a short period. I had Amazon exchange it and the second product works perfectly. It is nicely balanced and it cuts cleanly and powerfully. The batteries last a good long time and it seems well built. The chain adjustment is easy and stays tight. I am quite impressed in how well it functions. I have a number of Dong Cheng tools all of which have been excellent.

I was camping with a friend and was going to use a hatchet to cut firewood. He say for me to hold out. Out of the back up his pickup truck he pulled out a battery chain saw. It was so awesome I needed to get one. In ten minutes I had cut four days worth of firewood for our trip. I settled in on this Dong Cheng Brushless Cordless Chainsaw 16 Inch. It was a bit larger than my friend's chainsaw. I used it on a camping trip (one trip so far) and it worked great. I got a storage bag for it (I very much recommend this) to keep it clean from dirt.

I own two of these, great trim saw. You might want to order some extra chains. I don't know why the negative reviews mine have cut more limbs and small trees than my gas saw and don't have to deal with mixed gas and extra weight.

I returned this saw. Here's why. 1. The wood chips accumulated under the removable chain guard to the point that the chain would not turn making it necessary to remove the guard multiple times and dislodge the packed chips. The chips would not flow out of the chain guard like every other saw I've owned. 2. At full charge the batteries only lasted roughly 45 min (at best) UNTIL one of the batteries failed completely and the saw was now dead. (It will not run with only one battery). The battery would no longer charge. I purchased this saw because I have a physical issue and needed a lighter saw. I was very disappointed because I was hoping it would meet my needs. I would not recommend it.

The saw works better than I ever thought it would. This is my second one for a backup. I did drop my first saw at a height of 25' and sustained no damage to the saw at all. I was quite surprised and shocked. I have been using them to cut trees with a 20" diameter and have not had a problem with them so far. My only downside to it is the price for replacement batteries, you are better to buy another saw, due to the price of the batteries. Otherwise, it's a powerful, light weight and durable saw. If this thing gives out on me, i'll let it be known too.
