Seduction (Curse of the Gods Book 3)

I had to have this series for my book shelf!
It will keep you laughing but also cheering on the FMC no matter how much chaos she keeps getting herself into! I love this book. When I am in a reading slump I reread this series to help me get out of it. I will say it spicy and about 4 chili peppers but it’s a good read and a fun time.

favorite one so far
I knew if I kept reading it I would finally start to like it! This one was so much better! I felt as if they all actually had a connection and it filled some important plot holes for me.

Spoiler! The “Pact...”
Oh my gods, so worth waiting for! Since the series seems to be based on the harem god brother’s powers, then a book called “Pain,” and another called “Strength,” should be in the wings still.I adored the increased world building and character fleshing out. Unlike other authors, these two are solidly focused on bringing the reader solidly into their worlds, and caring deeply for the characters in the series. The subplots, involve the worker’s world, and the god’s world. There are hints of another, too. There is a caste system in place, and the main character is a super clumsy spirited girl, raised mostly by her adopted sister. Who always seems to have a medipak on her person, to treat Willa’s injuries sustained by her “curse,” of clumsiness. Willa and those around her, all fall prey to the curses’ often hilarious incidences that our heroine takes in stride. In her own opinion, it’s not like she has a choice, so just in case falling down a well, getting charged by Bullshen(a Brahma Bull like oxen with tempers to match), or accidentally setting her teacher on fire with a found bucket of mystery substance, hits it’s mark in a fatal way... Then Willa’s attitude of live life like the next hour could be her last, is not only completely understandable, but keeps the adventurous maiden moving always forward, with a can do spirit, that has you falling in love with her, and cheering her on. My favorite part of the series so far was a intentional joke she pulled, where everyone else saw her running around school in her underwear and bra, except her boyfriend brothers. Yeah, in case you haven’t read the series yet in full, the hero harem consist of triplets and twins. Same mom and dad. The reactions from everyone as they noticed her state of undress, and the equally puzzled but growing suspicion of the brothers is laugh out loud hilarious. This scene was in 2nd book, “Persuasion.” Amazing series. Buy them all Now! You won’t be disappointed!

I can't get enough of this series.
Seduction brings the return of my favorite, clumsy, often-naked, chaos-causing, dweller Willa and her beautiful Abcurses. The Abcurses have been called to Topia to stand trial for killing the Chancellor. It's not safe to take Willa with them since they need to keep her from attracting Staviti's attention and out of Rau's hands. The soul-link must be extended to keep Willa safe and only the Neutral God himself, Cyrus can help. Once the link is secured, the Abcurses take off for what is expected to only be a day or two absence at most. What type of trouble could Willa get into left at Blesswood for that short amount of time? Ha! Several fires, a kidnapping, being left for dead, rescuing a herd of Pantera, sneaking into Topia and learning magical secrets for just a start. The Abcurses should know that this girl is not safe out of their sight!I can't get enough of this series. I am totally addicted. This one has adventures and answers. Willa is always surprising, sweet, and silly. This time she takes control and gets treated with plenty of sweetness and some sexy times. Much appreciated! I love a book that has so much to offer. This one had so much story; humor, revealing answers that led to more questions, betrayals, heartbreak, romance, and love. Willa is one of my favorite leading ladies of all time. Her inner thoughts are the best. I find myself giggling along with the Abcurses. And the Abcurses, 1-5, Rome, Siret, Coen, Yael, and Aros are absolutely delicious. The JJ's have created an incredible world with such attention to detail. The characters are excellent in every way and the story just keeps getting better. With each new book, I expect so much and these two deliver even more. There's such originality and depth to this story with twists and turns you never see coming. Chaos doesn't begin to accurately portray Willa. I love the idea that Rau or Cyrus or Staviti himself thinks that they can control her. I can see Topia falling first. Only the combined efforts of the Abcurses can rein her in and only because she's willing to make an effort with them. This is a can't put down, read through the night kind of book. The ending will leave you a bit stunned and desperately wanting the next book. So, so good!

still really enjoying this series
Willa is dealing with the aftermath of the battle between the sols and the dwellers. Atti perished and Emmy is struggling with his loss. Willa is also trying to come to terms with what happened when she was bonded to Cyrus. She finds that she really cares for the Abcurses and she hates the distance they try to keep because of their pact.I am still living the random clutz that Willa is. She is funny, spunky and completely unpredictable. The Abcurses are adorable in their care and obsession of her. They are competitive with each other which probably helps them keep the pact.We see more of Cyrus and Emmy in this installment do the series and it definitely brings more to the plot of the story. Things are happening in the way Manatsal is being run and it is heavily influenced Willa and how the Abcurses treat her. Emmy is becoming more than the perfect dweller and yet she is still the best sister to Willa. She is a voice of reason and keeps a level head whenever sh*T hits the fan.I still find myself rolling with laughter throughout this series and I truly hope that that continues throughout the last two books.

good story line and funny
I liked the characters of this series and it’s funny but I don’t like the sexual aspect of 5 in 1 and the nudity was absurd that what put it off to me other then that the book is nice 3 out of 5

Pretty good
Decent so far. I'm ready for a little more to happen now. I feel like it drags a bit. But I'm here for the next book!

I LOVE WILLAAAA
Okay, this story gets better and better. I love the nicknames, but so far, Willa-toy is definitely my fav of all time! This book made me laugh and want to cry, and I can't wait to find out what else our dweller-sol-god-hybrid has in store!

Good so far
So far they still have me hooked to the plot, which a lot of fantasy novels fail to do so. Hence I would give this book a huge virtual thumbs up. I really have to learn how to write real reviews shouldn't I?

Sneakily is a word
Alright, alright, alright.I may have accidentally on purpose read this book in a few hours. I may have had to work, and take care of a couple few of my kids during the process of reading. But I finished. And I absolutely adored it! Nothing would have been able to stop me. Really! This book was perfect. I couldnt have expected anything less. I absolutely love Willa, and her crazy ramblings, inner monologues and the chaos that ensues with her. She has 5 hot Gods that protect her, because lets face it. She needs protection from herself lol.I laughed so much in this book, that I had to close it a few times to centre myself. Laughing at work can get a bit embarrassing when everyone turns to look at you.Remember in the last book that the hot gods 1-5 had been told that they were not allowed to kill anyone, but then they did. They had to leave to Willa, ON HER OWN, to go to the trial in Topia. Willa needed to have her alone time I feel so that she could grow, although the chaos still happened to follow her where ever she went, she needed to learn to use her powers on her own. The boys are still involved when she has her alone time. I am thankful for that because time without the loves of my life ( I mean Willa's) I wouldnt have known how to cope. I love that Cyrus is in this book again, I feel that he has an important part in the rest of the books. I cant wait to see what more he will reveal in the coming books. Although he is neutral I think we are seeing that he wants to be on the winning side... you know picking favourites and all that lol but he really needs to stop popping in unexpectedly, he should know by now! ;)This book bumps it up a notch in the steamy section. The pact is dissolved, and now what is she going to do with so many penises? Can I say that? Or is it penii?I loved that we had more insight of the Gods/Dwellers/Sols and their worlds. We learn more about the power of Staviti, Topia, and the power that comes from there. I believe there is a lot of foreshadowing that most will overlook. I dont want to throw out my fan theory because they suck, and I hate guessing.Im going to end this rambling by stating that I have 1 major series that I adore, and the Curse of the Gods have bumped it to number 2.Fantastic job Jane, and Jaymin! I can't wait til the next one, and the next one! *and the next one?! sneakily raises 3 fingers up with a pleading look on my face*

Fantastically entertaining.
Seduction is book 3 in the curse of the Gods series and if you loved the first 2 books Trickery and Persuasion then Seduction will not disappoint. If you haven't read the other 2 books then what are you waiting for? Get your hands on Trickery now. Yet again this book series made me laugh out loud. Willa is such a Klutz and she stumbles from one mess to the next making a very entertaining read. The story is original and I love the world that both Jane and Jaymin have created. The story continues on nicely from where we left off in Persuasion and we get to peek a little more into the life of Willa and the beautiful Abcurses. The story develops at a nice pace, never feels rushed but also keeps you interested.I can't wait for book 4. I haven't ever read a series of books quite like these. Fantastic. I would give it 6 Unicorns(stars) if I could.
