Used these in my work boots. Better than the strings the boots came with quality is very good. like the color the brown and black matches very well.True to length. and best of all made in the USA.

Purchased to replace worn laces on L.L. Bean boots. This length is a little short for reaching the top grommet and tying in a bow, but still works great for our purposes.

Ordered these laces as a replacement for those on a pair of work boots. They have a bit of stretch, not too much (which would not be desirable on these boots) and seem well made. Too soon to report on their durability.

These are well made, but kinda thick and don't stay tied as well as thinner laces.Having said that, I just started using these and they may get better once broken in.

Exactly what they were advertised as. Heavy duty shoe strings. I got these for a pair of boots that came with Kevlar shoe strings. When those wore out I picked up a pair of standard shoe strings; they did not last very long. These are thick and heavy duty, hopefully they last as good as they look.

Solid, sturdy and strong. Good color choices too. Spend a little more on these and know you won't be disappointed.

What can I say, they’re boot laces. I haven’t worn them long enough to test there toughness and abrasion resistance but so far they seem to be great laces so I’ll give them five stars for now and if they don’t perform as advertised I’ll change my rating.

I ended up not using them. Even though they said thick, they are thick—too thick for me. They are a little springy, making me think they are weak. They will fray and snag on things. In any case, I had to have something a little thinner and stronger, so I took them out as fast as I laced them up. I got some of the more traditional boot laces, which are clam to be strong without the possibility of streaching.

I’ve had these laces on my boots for less then 2 months and they are already deconstructing themselves. The lace material is fraying and I can see parts of the core string coming through the outer sheathing. Not worth how much they’re asking!! The original laces on these boots lasted 5 years.

These are great laces. My only complaint is price and availability. Bought two sets, and I’m very pleased. I like the colours and patterns offered. A wee bit on the expensive side, but it may be an algorithm issue with Amazon, so perhaps 5 stars for the product I received. They are solid in structure. Very little to no stretch. Tie very easily and hold their knots well. Again the colours are vibrant and solid, and the patterns are accurate to what’s advertised, but they look better in person. They’re on the thicker side, 3/16-1/4”.

A little large for the loops on my boots (my problem, not the laces). I just pried them open a bit to fit better. I expect the laces will outlast the boots.
