Looks sturdy
May 28, 2021: When I received the package, the kickstand seemed larger than I expected. After installing it, though, it is a perfect complement to the bike. For the Schwinn Sporterra, it fits out of the way but mounts right against the cable to the rear derailleur. My bike has a mounting plate, so all I needed were the bolt and washer and an allen wrench. Since the space was tight, I screwed the bolt in using fingers as far as possible, then used the wrench to tighten. The wide foot is great, but I'll watch to see how durable it is. I also made sure to firmly tighten the adjustment screw so the extension stays put. July 7 2022: The kickstand has been in use more than a year now and still does what it's supposed to. I've had to re-tighten the mounting bolt twice during that time. January 14 2023: The plastic foot fell off during a commute. All metal parts were securely tightened. I requested to purchase a replacement foot from Lumintrail, but the foot is NOT available separately for the BS-6-21. Even though the warranty is long past expiration, they sent me a replacement kickstand at a discounted price. They apparently stand behind their products and value their customers. --- Regarding the plastic foot, I was able to simply move it from the new stand to the one which was already installed. It pushed on securely hand tight, but I might add adhesive. Upon reflection, what I think happened is that after over 18 months of kicking the stand back while starting to ride, the foot was slowly but surely moved back until it finally fell off from vibration while commuting. What I'd recommend for other customers is push to check that the foot is secure and tight while doing regular bike maintenance.

Well-made!!
Used it on a road bike purchased from LL Bean 10 years ago. The original kickstand bracket plate (in front of rear tire) rusted and broke off, so bought this as a replacement unit. Since the bike no longer had a bracket plate, needed a kickstand that attached to side rail. This attached securely to bar near the rear tire axle. No wobble. Amazing that the length of the kickstand can also be adjusted! Functionality works great. Very smooth to move kickstand back and forth. Another great product made in China!

Works but needed a different bolt.
I bought this kick stand for my g-son's 26" bicycle. It seems to be well built and can be adjusted for the height you need by using a small allen wrench. The bike has a rear brake cable guide mounted on the frame, just above where the kick stand is to be mounted. The brake mount interfered with using an allen wrench to tighten the supplied bolt. I could've moved the mount but did not want to risk losing the brake adjustments so I replaced it with a different bolt ($1.75 at HD in the specialty fasteners drawers) tightened with a racthet wrench and everthing works fine. A regular wrench would work but might be slow. I posted a pic of the replacement bolt that I used so maybe that will help you out.

Very Easy to Install and seem Securely attached.
Delivery was excellent per Amazon's normal great standards. I bought two Lumintrail kick stands and installed them on two mountain bikes. It so happens that for the men's bike install the kick stand was the Allen wrench adjustable-length model and for the woman's bike install the kick stand model was a simple push button adjustable length. Both installs were easy and secure due to the quality components. I like the feet on both of them due to the decent support area which should help in loose soil. They both are lightweight due to aluminum alloy (the fastener and cross support appear to be steel for strength purposes). The push button operated model makes a bit more noise when the bike hits the ground hard and if I were to buy another kick stand I would likely stick with the Allen bolt adjustable length model because I don't believe the length of the stand would need to be adjusted more than once per bicycle. I can't comment on durability because we have only owned the stands for a couple weeks.

Sturdy, easy to install, and Adjustable.
So I’m not going to make more of this than it is. It’s a kick stand. That said, well designed, looks good, and adjustable without requiring cutting. I have kids and they are growing out of their bikes and sizing up. A lot of the bikes don’t have or come with kickstands and when they do they are usually the cast aluminum ones that fasten with a 10-12mm hex bolt right behind the bottom bracket. Nothing wrong with this design but it usually requires cutting the stand post. This one is powder coated steel and rubber for the most part with an adjustable foot. It’s a lot more forgiving and the chrome mount conforms better when attaching to the frame. Looks better and doesn’t a as loose the foot like other ones in the past.

Not strong enough
I had high hopes for this thing. It's good quality, but the kickstand is entirely too easy to flip up. It'll work IF your bike is on a flat surface, however if your bike is facing downhill at any angle, prepare for the bike to fall over. I've already gone through two kickstands trying to find a great one. I'll just deal with this one and make sure the bike's rear end is facing downhill if there's any type of slope...

Nice kickstand but bolt needs changed
Bought this for my wife's bike, a Liv Tempt 3. The cables on this bike are routed through the downtube and then the front derailleur cable goes up through where this kick stand mounts. This caused the top plate to bind up the cable and the front derailuer not to shift. Had to drill a small hole in the top plate and then used a Dremel to turn the hole into a notch. This all worked great once done. This is not a complaint on the kickstand just a heads up if your bike does this as well. The only complaint I have for the kickstand is, the bolt needs to be changed so a wrench can be used instead of Allen key. Next to impossible to tighten. This is a great item otherwise. Nice looking, adjustable and sturdy. Would buy again and would recommend!
