I'm buying this to keep the air from oxidizing my ping pong paddle rubber. After placing the protective plastic shield on both sides of rubber, I place entire paddle inside & vacuum out the air. This should greatly prolong life span of my table tennis bat's rubber.I'm confident it will work great for this application.the only thing that would improve this would be if it was in the shape of the paddle. Not a big deal to fold over the plastic though.2/28/18Just received and I couldn't be happier. I believe that vacuum sealing my table tennis bats will greatly prolong the life of the rubber. I also use rubber conditioner twice a week. The only question remaining to be answered is, how will the bag valve hold up?

This little vaccumm pump is great for keeping food fresh!

I had one of these when Reynolds first had it on the market. I finally wore out and i bought another one. Wore that one out and found this one. Works well when used correctly. Great to keep out the freezer burn

This device works, but I wouldn't recommend it. It had a difficult time really getting all the air out of my bags. The liquid reservoir is very small and fills up fast if there is much of any liquid in the bag - often before all the air is removed. Using new Amazon Basics batteries (6x AA) the batteries were dead after about 1.5 weeks of usage (about 30 bags).On the positive side it is a great size and works for basic vacuum sealing. I'd recommend getting the Warring version instead.

Requires lots of batteries and can only be used with these specific bags. I probably could have read about that if I wasn’t so excited to jump on the purchase.

The title of the bags literally says it’s Sous vide safe, but when you open the box it literally tells you not to Sous vide with them.

I bought this product a week ago. I use it today to seal my chicken breast. It seals quite quickly but unfortunately, it does not last long. The seal doesn't even hold up to several minutes. My other comment to this device is that you have to thumb holding the button while operating it. It's very tiring. Overall speaking, the idea of this product may work but the product itself does not do the job well.

Not bad if you use for long term storage. If you unseal and reseal almost daily, you are luck to get a 3 weeks out of a bag. The hand suction sealer seems very good. Work fine with rechargeables in it.

Only uses gourmia bags so there are very few options available.

This is a great alternative to the bulky counter-top ones. I came with 6 large bags that are great, but it is a little noisier than I anticipated. All in all a great product though!
