This is my second sun hat, the first one finally got too dirty & has become my gardening & kayaking hat. The brim is very large protecting the majority of your face the majority of the time, the top/dome of the hat has enough room so I can clip my long hair up under it, the back flap protects my neck, it’s lightweight yet sturdy & the functionality of the draw string is perfect to secure it in the wind. I wear it when I’m going to be out for long hours & expect wind, in HI and kayaking in MS, my head does not get hot. It arrives flat, I stuff the dome with a shirt & pull the draw string in tight, then hang it upside down - soon it will keep its rounded front shape instead of flat.

Very comfortable & lightweight, fits perfect, I like the fact the tie can be used to help adjust for my head, a spot for a ponytail, does protect & shield my face & neck from the sun, quality is spot on, very well made, and the color is amazing & vibrant! Definitely worth the money.

Works for the snow and the rain. I live in Minnesota and it snows and it rains here and I dislike when my hair gets wet because it messes it up. This hat keeps my head dry when I have to make the long walk from my car to the office on rainy and snowy days. Great value for the money. It’s comfortable and stays on. Fabric is breathable but now how also keeps the water off you? Makes a great rain hat for not a ton of money. Would buy again.

I bought two colors and so happy with both. I need to keep the sun off my face and they do a great job. They breathe a bit as well so I don’t feel sweaty.

I like everything about this hat with 1 cosmetic critique that I hated. The thing I absolutely hate about this hat is that it has a hole for a ponytail. That in itself is weird but not a problem. The problem is that the manufacturer decided to hide the ponytail hole with a big 'ol bow tied to hide the hole. A kahki hat with a ginormous khaki bow really looked stupid to me. I unstitched it from both sides. But it was a waste of my time. Otherwise, I like the hat much better now (without the bow, yuck!). It is a very light weight nylon like material. The cost was inexpensive. It provides good protection from the sun with the half brim (it's only on the front & sides) & neck cover.

Not good if you need total sun protection around your neck. Back and sides exposed. If not it's pretty and keeps the back of your neck protected.

Great protection coverage. Wore them swimming and it didn't get soaked. Good waterproofing.

Wore this constantly for a week in the Caribbean. The mesh sides make it super light weight and airy, the brim is huge (a good thing) and stable yet soft enough to pack in a bag. Wore it on windy days and it didn't budge. Folds nice and flat for easy packing. Overall this is a perfect sun hat and I will be happy to use it for many summers and vacations.
