This is a straight forward assembly and takes less than five minutes to assemble. I have Australian Shepherd so I went with the 3 ft crates. Used them on a long trip and my dogs made it 8 hours in their crates (minus potty breaks) without complaining. There is plenty of head space and room to lay down. The plastic is sturdy and it cleans easily. Very satisfied. The price was less than competitors and I was pleased with that also. No shipping fees either.

Very sturdy. Opens and closes easily. Was very easy to assemble. I love how the front gate is in small squares so that my dog cannot chew on the metal bars as she often does with traditional kennels or crates. The design is very safe. I bought it used and it was in perfect condition with all the parts. Big enough for my 12 pound dog to be able to sit up in and not crouch her head down.

I rated this carrier a 4 because it is of very good quality and made well. I have used Petmate carriers for decades. However, I am returning it because the interior dimensions listed in the online description are not accurate. It is not even close to being comfortable for my 13 pound cat to lay down, turn around, etc. Sadly, Petmate has changed their design over the years, and not for the best.The 24" carrier write-up indicates inside dimensions are 21.5" L x 15" W x 13.5" H. The inside of the carrier is tapered. Those are the dimensions at the widest part of it. The bottom of the carrier is only about 10" wide and 19" long.I can't comment on ease of assembly, as I didn't bother putting it together. I will purchase the next size up and see how that goes.

I recently purchased the small crate for 10-20lbs for our new puppy who is a micro bernedoodle. Right now she is about 3-4lbs and fits easily in the crate. My 3yr old is able to open it and can pick it up and carry it (without the dog in it).The crate is well-constructed with a durable plastic and ensures the safety and comfort of our puppy. You can easily disassemble the crate and store it if you needed to. The crate also comes with a handy carrying handle that makes moving it a breeze.Despite its compact size, the crate offers ample space for our puppy to move around comfortably. The well ventilated sides provide airflow, ensuring our pet stays cool and relaxed during travel or at night.Overall, we are satisfied with this small portable crate for animals.
