Well, I didn’t fall off the roof and that’s a good thing for starters. The harness rope worked really great with my securely fastened roof hook and harness. I felt and was much safer and it was relatively easy to adjust to the perfect length while working. Very well made sturdy rope well worth the cost.

This is a fine rope. I use it to rig myself safely to put up Christmas lights or do roof maintenance on my house with a 12/12 pitched roof. Solid, well built, minimal stretch.

I like this setup. It works well, but the metal seems cheap and not super well crafted.

There is nothing wrong with this! Only slight preference i can find is the included fall arrester can't be detached from the lock. The clips do not have burrs nor sharp edges so that has been fixed. I want to take issue with the review "the lock doesn't work". Of course it doesn't. You're using it wrong! If you look at the design at this thing it puts more pressure on the rope the more weight is put on it. It's designed to slide until someone makes a quick move in a downward direction. The reviewer who was showing it not working was lifting it straight up and not pulling down hard on it. The harder you pull the harder it locks, simple physics of this type design and very very reliable.

I have a project to install a starlink dish on a high and steep roof. I needed safety gear to keep my on the roof. After watching hours of videos, I decided I needed a stout rope. a rope grab, and some type type of lanyard to attach to a harness. The harness I ordered separately. This rope is no joke. its big. so big, its not that flexible. But being thick, its easy to grab ahold of. the rope grap was easy to operate. The snap hooks on the lanyard and the end of the rope were impressive to me. Looked strong enough to pull a tank. I was concerned about 100ft of length. I though I would need the 150ft version, but that was not available. Turns out for me, 100ft ended up being fine. Would I purchase this again: absolutely Would I recommend this to another: absolutely Was the cost/value good: it was excellent! some kits for for 2x, 3x, 4x more.

This rope kit is outstanding..good quality been used hard for over a yr and still has its properties with no fraying or wear.
