this fitted like a glove, i was uneasy as this was my first time replacing this component but installation was very straight forwards with the instructions included on the box. I'm not an expert and managed the have my filter back on business in 1 hour, the hardest part is to remove the old sand and broken pieces. I highly recommend this part for you Hayward filter. I can notice the difference as soon as I turn the filter! no more algae or cloudy water, stop wasting on chemical and check your filter ;)

I would have given it a 5 star but I didnât like that I had to glue a coupling. To many glue positions, for leaks
