Bought these for my son. He's finishing college to be an Engineer. They will be a great gift. The mechanical pencils have a nice feel to them in your hand. The different thicknesses of lead will be needed. Came with many refills. My husband is an Enginner as well. He said the set was really nice. It comes with refills and a beautiful zippered, leather case.

Really enjoy that this kit comes equipped with all that you could need. I do not use it for art, but note taking. Love that it includes so many assorted items. I like to switch my pencil widths as I take notes for comfort and changing this up to keep me engage in the topic I am studying. Love the leather case, helps me keep thinking that my note taking is a serious matter and that it requires special attention -- keeps me motivated. Price is really good too!

I have used many writing instruments in my lifetime and this set, by far, is the best set I have purchased to date. The set includes anything you would need for someone who is writing, sketching, or drawing. The case is high quality and durable. The mechanical pencils are very well built and come with the larger erasers, which I prefer, and a near infinite supply of pencil lead for each of the various diameter pencils. I love having the colored graphite refills as well in case I need to do some light drawing or add a pop to my sketches but forgot to grab my colored pencils. I definitely recommend purchasing, especially at this price. You will not be disappointed!

This is a very nice drawing set. The pencils are very sturdy and work well. I particularly like the fact that I can change lead thickness just by switching pencils. Very nice carrying leather pouch to top everything off.
