Buy what fits your job
This unit is amazing. It has the flexibility of much higher priced units. Sure , you’re not gonna weld with it 8 hours straight or do heavy welding but to do repairs or small fabrications it’s perfect. I’ve welded for 50 years and have never had such success welding aluminum with a TIG torch. If you need to do heavier welding just get a bigger unit.

Great for the money
I have used this machine with on stick mode and it works great. However, it will not run at all with the 120 adapter. It sparks, but it just doesn't seem to give the machine enough power. On 240, it works great. I can't speak on the TIG settings because I haven't had a chance to get any argon. As a welder by trade, it's definitely good for the price

Great purchase
Ordered as a gift for my husband. He loved it. Only downfall- it doesn’t come with tungsten. He had to go out and buy some to use it. So order tungsten when you order this. Heavy duty machine. Great size. Multi-processor. Accurate. Easy to set up out of box. Multiple levels to use for heat- easy to adjust for different material.

Amazing value, no problems in 2 years
I couldn't be happier with this welder as someone who only has 120V and works on my own vehicles. The value for money is insane and this machine allowed me to learn TIG welding for exhaust without breaking the bank.

BUYER BEWARE!!!
This welder is a welder you buy to sit in the corner and use once in a while, that "will work" in a pinch. This welder is great, up until you weld with it using the YesWelder Pedal that is made for this welder. The welder is great for mid range and higher ranger amperage. Once you get down to the 50A and under, it becomes a pile of junk! I bought the pedal made for this welder (according you YesWelder) and the machine/pedal completey disengages at 30A. So if you are welding on thin material at, lets say for example 50A and you want to trail your arc out to avoid divents and/or pinholes, you only have 20A to work with (50A but cots off at 30A, which leaves 20A play with a pedal). This welder is great for a utility or in a pinch, but for welding anything that is thin at low amperage, this welder is garbage. Stay away if you will be welding on any sheetmetal, thin edges when using pulse, anything small and thin, STAY AWAY AND GET A NAME BRAND WELDER!!! I heard great things about YesWelder Customer Service, but I have reached out to them on their website and they have completely gone dark, and just ignoring the issue completely. Have bought many YesWelder products up to this point, and I will be staying away and buying name brand from here on out. Spend the money on higher quality na e brands, you will NEVER be disappointed!

Amazing tig for under $100
I don’t normally write reviews, but I’m impressed and figure other people on a budget would appreciate a review. This little welder did a great job tig welding some scrap metal together on the first try. The lift start is a little difficult to get going, but compared to the $700 harbor freight “titanium” welder I have, this actually seems to weld better given my low skill level. This was using a standard 110v 15A outlet without any issues. Once it gets going, it feels pretty smooth and does the job. I don’t know how to stick weld and didn’t try stick mode, but I’d imagine it works. This welder is also tiny, I posted a picture comparing it to a harbor freight mig. The torch seems sturdy enough and the grounding clamp is surprisingly nice. The accessories are bare bones. You will need to buy a regulator (I’m using a $15 Amazon regulator), tungston, and rod. A tank of Aragon gas will also cost more than the welder. For reference, anyone can probably make this thing work well enough to use. I taught myself how to tig weld using YouTube, this was my 3rd time ever using a tig welder and second time ever connecting metal together with one. Not the prettiest work but I feel ready to start making exhaust and other car project misc with this now.

Great Machine Held Back by Serious Ground Clamp Issue - Updated
I really wanted to love the TIG-205P Pro. For the price, it offers impressive features, clean arc starts, and easy controls — everything I was looking for in a light TIG welder. Unfortunately, after only 2 hours of use, the stock ground clamp cable melted and completely severed at the connection point. This wasn’t due to misuse — I was running well within the machine’s capabilities. Upon inspection, the included cable is only 16mm² (roughly #5 AWG), which seems undersized for a machine rated to output 200+ amps. Combine that with what appears to be a poor or loose internal connection at the clamp, and the result is overheating, melted insulation, and a failed cable. This is more than an inconvenience — it’s a serious safety concern. I’ve reached out to Yeswelder directly and am hopeful they’ll make it right by sending a properly rated ground cable and addressing this flaw in future builds. If the grounding issue is resolved, this would be a solid 5-star machine. But until then, I strongly recommend replacing the ground cable and clamp immediately if you buy this unit. Update: After posting my initial review, Yeswelder customer service reached out promptly and offered to send a replacement ground clamp, no hassle. They explained that the failure was likely caused by poor contact between the clamp and the workpiece, which can cause overheating due to high current flow — a fair point. I still believe the included ground cable may be undersized for a machine capable of over 200 amps and will update again if that proves to be true. That said, customer service was excellent, and I appreciate their support!

One star for the timely delivery, and another for the functions (pre-flow, hot-sart, arc-force, HF-start, etc.), also one star for an easy return. That said, it did not hold an arc, (-1star), and I wasted a day (-1star). The thing got stuck on stick, and did not cycle to tig nor pulse tig. Luck of the draw perhaps.

Tiempo perdido!
