These scissors are comfortable to use and they are great cutters leaving a smooth edge. They can be used for any sewing or crafting project. They are durable and fit perfectly in hands.

I don't even want to think about how long ago this was, but back when my sisters and I were growing up, there was always a pile of clothes that needed some type of mending. My mother was always up to the task, a herculean effort that somehow, no one ever noticed. I cannot remember one shirt or pair of jeans that she mended over the years, but I do remember the scissors she wore around her neck like a huge pendant on a chain, always professing the quality of the Gingher brand, and declaring that keeping her four little devils neat and well-dressed was a job that took the best tools available. Anyway, those scissors went to my younger sister when my mom passed on, but the brand name has lingered with me. Now, as the women in my life will tell you, I am about as far from a needle and thread kind of guy as you can get, preferring to allow my clothing to age as ungracefully as my body has. So when I went looking for a pair of scissors earlier this year, it wasn't to cut the cloth for a new shirt I was making for myself, but to upgrade my somewhat eclectic tool kit that year after year, has been with me, in the trenches, as I have ventured into the hostile territory of my household environs, and fought the maintenance battles and wars that are common to any homeowner. So during my last couple of skirmishes, I found myself outflanked by an uncooperative piece of canvas that needed trimming in the first incident, and in the second,an old rubber hose that had the nasty habit of losing its fixture. In both cases I found myself reaching into my tool kit for a pair of scissors to make a clean cut through heavy resistance. The absence of that tool got me to the web pages of Amazon, and it was there that the name "Gingher" reemerged from my memories. That old pair of scissors Mom used all the time. But those were sewing scissors, right? Well, the more and more I read about the Gingher brand , in the reviews on this and other sites, the more I believed that it may be the tool I needed when neither a knife or a pair of heavy duty sheers would do. So with fond memories of Mom, I purchased this little dynamo. And now I know why she used, (and wore) this brand.These scissors are crafted with high quality chrome covered nickel that maintains a sharp edge fit to cut more than what Gingher says they're made for. They are small enough to maneuver within close confines but strong and sharp enough to perform their task cleanly, and efficiently, leaving no ragged edges to deal with later. Since adding them to my old tool kit, they have already helped me out of a couple of jams and have quickly shed the moniker "rookie". I'm glad to have them, and thinking about some of the chores I have worked on over the years, I only wish I had added them sooner. "Yeah, Mom, You were right. . . Yes, I know you get what you pay for. . . Yes I should have listened to you more often, . . . Yes I know you do. . .Yes, ah, I do too. . . Ah, not now Mom. Please! Not in front of all these people."

These scissors are very sharp; cut well; very handy size. Best quality.

JUST REALLY GREAT SCISSORS....I USE THEM FOR PRUNNING AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD TASKS...BUY QUALITY, YOU WONT REGRET IT

So I was watching a YouTube video about these shears and I had bought the non pointy tip version at joanns for twice the price , minus coupons I will admit which made them pretty competitive however still not as good of a deal ! They are both very close to size and weight ! However they are a few $ more even on here ! Now if I had it to do again my personal choice would be this version as they have the tip but by no means are either a bad choice ! These are quality and you can feel there weight ! Not to heavy though just they are quality but anyone who speaks a bad review about either or any of this name brand is just being extream cause I love cutting with these as they are my go to ! I do love Kia lately and as much as I love there pro series ! I’m still a lover of this company and these are packaged new straight from the company ! These are worthy to have if you need a smaller detailed shears and they will cut anything you want period ! I highly recommend these shears and the shipping is great ! Prime ! I love amazon ! I’d love to start reviewing products one day ! Lord knows I buy enough stuff from here lol My First go to is Amazon to see if I can get a better deal with free fast shipping and 9 times out of ten they can’t be beat ! By far ! Buy these shears and stop waisting your time worrying cause you will get what you pay for here and let’s face it you can save a few $ and get something less expensive however the sharpness isn’t going to last ! And the quality won’t be there ! These are worth the investment cause you won’t be buying any for many years to come and I add that up when I’m thinking of buying quality ! These are in my # 1s favs no joke ! Just the truth the way I feel to take the time and to review an item and test it first ! Idk how they can afford to let these go for this price but there is no difference what so ever in quality ! Try them yourself ! You will see :-) ty for your time !

my package was missing the protective cover that was supposed to be in it. The scissors work fine and do not appear to have been opened prior to my purchase, so where is the protective piece that fits over them. This is the second pair of these I own, the others are a little longer and did come with cover. Overall, product appears to be quality.... missing parts in the package....

These are my go to scissors. I keep them in my knitting bag. They remain sharp. They are a good weight and have a smooth mechanism

Good product 1st class quality

This a one mean pair of scissors. The first thing that will surprise you the weight. For small 5 inch scissors, they have a substantial weight. Most important is they are very sharp and be aware of very sharp points. If you are a sewer they will nip marking on the fabric in one clean snip. Also good for grading seams. I got mine on the account of watching Mr. Kenneth King's video. Excellent product.

I brought these scissors to cut macrame cords cleanly. They are absolutely fabulous and do an amazing job. I highly recommend them as they are so sharp, easy to use and beautifully made.

I’m a sewing machinist and i bought these for work.Absolutely fantastic very very sharpe cut my finger with just the tip.Would defo recommend and if i ever need another pair i would buy.
