Item works very well , as far as rock tumblers go this is very quiet compared to many units. Enjoy 3 speed separation for the different types of stages for tumbling also 9-day timer. Barrel is also well made very durable , lid twice as thick as some units . Customer service is 100% they will return your call within 24 to 48 hours during business days . You can expect a good experience with this product I was not paid for my comments this is an honest opinion of product after using it for several months . Also the 4 step kit with additional ceramic media is an awesome add to this complete set up ,items work very well you will be pleased with your investment.

Nice little rock tumbler. Easy to use. A little loud but its definitely quieter than the caseless one I had. You may need to purchase an additional level of grit , like aluminum oxide, to get your rocks super shiny.Good customer service, very responsive.Make sure to fill out the warranty card and mail them for some extra rocks to polish!

Edited review: So I just got email from Ann asking me to make another update or review. The extra stones they promised you can get after receiving the K2 Tumbler is good. The stones arrived last week and I have been tumbling some them in my new K2 Tumbler. It is quieter than the open ones. They kept their word and sent out the extra rocks and they looked great. Waiting to see how they come out after the 1st stage is finished. Thank You Ann for keep in touch and yes I got the Rocks. I like this company. Will order more things from them in future. If you buy the K2 go ahead and get the extra rocks they will send them. No joke. Ok hope this review helps anyone wondering about that. Peace.I just got my new Tumbler the K2 that is enclosed and is truly quiet compared to some others I have seen. Have not tumbled any rocks yet. I sent email to the address on the card inside the box when it arrived to see if they really will send me more rocks for free as a gift. They replied same day telling me they will arrive 5-7 days. They are keeping their word regarding this. I will update my review when I get some rocks finished and use the tumbler. They said to oil the belt on the motor so I ordered some Singer Sewing Machine oil to put on it before tumbling any rocks. It arrived without any damage. The support team I heard from are Anne & Grace. They have been very helpful so far. Give them a try. I like this company so far and their support people. Wish them and you a very good day. Peace.

The enclosure keeps it quiet.Update on 10/26/24I’ve used it for a few weeks now. I am able to tumble more rocks at a time. This is very convenient. It remains quiet.I’ve emailed support with questions. They responded quickly. They gave me an answer with suggestions, recommendations, and guidance. This has been a worthwhile purchase

Product is amazing. Easy to use, fun idea for the kids, although the time it takes from step 1 - 4 is quite long for their attention span.

I’m giving it two stars because it is pretty quiet and seems well built. But since receiving this unit, I’ve tried to run it for a week and it just keeps turning itself off. Sometimes it runs for a few hours and sometimes it runs for a few minutes, but it will not stay on. It seems to be something to do with a tip sensor. If I barely tip the unit forward while it is running it will immediately power off. So I’ve tried to stabilize it snd slightly prop it up but no matter what I do it will shut itself off eventually. I would recommend purchasing a tumbler from a different brand.Edit: After speaking with the company, they sent me a replacement base and it works much better. It has stayed on for two 5-6 day tumble stages no problem. It does still vibrate out of place and will walk over the course of a few days, but putting something heavy in front of it stopped that. Changed my review to 5 stars.
