Ulticlip XL

This is my favorite belt clip I have ever used. I Attached it to my Work Tuff Gear Atayal sheath. it’s exactly what I was looking for

This company makes an incredible clip. They’ve got a handful of models. But this company in general makes the best style of clip I’ve seen. Now I know why I see them on every serious carry system. Or on heavy duty knife rigs.

I would love to give this product the 5 star rating that it truly could deserve, but a few minor details that need attention are what i feel is keeping this from being my absoulte favorite clip on the market. The thing that these clips excell at is that theyre secure as hell! They fit over my 1-1/2" wide x 1/4" thick Daltech Force steel core bull belt without issue, and they keep my holster and magazine carrier exactly where i clipped them. If i need to reposition a holster because its not quite right once the belt is buckled, its very difficult to pull the belt through the clips. Now if i had a slimmer single ply leather belt or a nylon webbed belt i could see there being and issue with these clips sliding back and forth too easily. I bought these for my Foxx IWB carry holsters and they fit both kydex shells without having to drill any additional holes in the kydex. One of the previoulsy mentioned small details that i would like to see ulticlip address is the lack of a horizontally slotted hole to allow for cant adjustment. With the current configuration my holster has to ride perfectly vertical in relation to my belt because the spring steel is so hard i wasnt even able to slot it myself using a carbide burr bit on an air die grinder. it simply wore the cutting edges right off from the carbide without even removing any material from the clip. The other small detail that has become a rather huge deal for me is the level finishing (or lack of) that is done to the edges of the steel components that make up this ulticlip. I have destroyed numerous company work shirts and a few personal shirts because of the sharp square edges on the hinge design.I carry with just a t shirt on most days, and if i lean against a wall of lay on my side while performing a basic work task these clips will pinch the shirt and put holes in it. They also left a huge gouge in the door jamb of my brand new 2019 F250 while i was attempting to exit the vehicle in these new 'economy car' sized parking spaces. I have since disassembled the clips into their 3 individual pieces and radiused the square shaped hinge and then sanded all of the sharp edges off from the rest of the parts. Im overall very happy with the clips after reworking them myself, but for almost $20 each (which includes no additional hardware to mount them with), i would expect a more finished product. And who the hell thought that a 'multi tool' would be at all usefull while it is attached to your belt, securing a loaded firearm? They should have used the energy wasted on the multitool feature and added a slotted hole and finished edges.

If you've carried a pistol for a while you know that getting in and out of the car repeatedly, or engaging in vigorous labor or activity can cause your pistol to shift around uncomfortably or even expose it. This thing is the end all be all of clips. It doesn't matter which pistol little holster, whether I use a fabric belt or a leather belt. Once you clamp it down, your equipment isn't going to move vertically or horizontally.

this will hold to your belt securely however I was using it with my hanks gun belt 1.5 and it will still slide around plus it was scratching and gouging my leather belt pretty bad while I was putting it on and off. I will try it on my ratcheting gun belt next and see how it goes... I did order the 3.3 slim for my kydex knife sheath for iwb and I do currently use the Xl.. so thats how I still feel about this clip.

Little difficult to Install without tweezers otherwise excellent product well made simple effective.

I bought a gen 3 version of this for IWB holster, which was awesome to hold tight to my pants, but could not get around a belt, and I need to use a holster with a belt cause I don't have enough butt to hold everything up. This clip grabs the cloth almost as well and goes around a belt. I am using it for a holster. If you want to usually wear a belt and have it also grab cloth, this is the right item. If you want a clip to grab cloth only (for beltless wear or so a belt goes over top of it for extra concealment) then get the gen 3 version. It holds super tight to cloth. The ulticlip is a pretty amazing device in general. I just had to do trial and error to find the right version.

I truly recommend the ulti clip doesn’t matter what size this is my second clip from them!!! They are amazing! If all holsters could come with these clips its solve a problem ppl don’t even know that they have. Love the versatility of this item it works on pants with and without a belt sweatpants shorts shoot even underwear lol not saying I’ve tried that but i believe it will work GREAT PRODUCT
