I'm a hgv mechanic so need a good torch as left my old one stuck to the bottom of a truck , this torch is amazing , well made , strong , compact and tons of bright light , spot light for a more focused light or flood light for lighting large areas, charge seems to be lasting well , couldn't have asked for more

Excellent. Quality of materials of which it’s built is great. Far superior to the lights built in plastic.Very handy size. Fits in easily when needing a light in tight spaces. Very bright.Would recommend.

Works well, generally use on 2 out of 4 brightness settings, battery last really well, lamp is robust and waterproof.

Good all round light

I needed a good quality light ! It’s very good nice and nBright and feels sturdy , I like the magnetic base too great for working on the car . Shame the charge port is still the old style USB otherwise a good product so far

Used this lamp extensively for 9 months on car repairs and it worked very well indeed. Sadly the main light source has given up now so I am buying another one as it was so good. Sturdy construction, I knocked and dropped it many times. Highly recommended.

This is a really nice, very bright light. Lots of versatility in positioning the beam and strengths of power. I would have marked it 5* but my switch doesn’t always scroll correctly ie. instead of going through the 5 options it will turn off before the required choice which is frustrating. Rather than putting this information on a review I would have contacted the seller but couldn’t find that option on my order. Think I will keep the light anyway (so didn’t want the return option) as it is otherwise fine. Smaller than I thought so will fit in tool bag easily. Don’t be put off by my experience as I have probably just been a bit unlucky with mine.

I've owned 2. First from here, second directly from the company itself. I use them daily as my light of choice for my job as an armed security guard. They work really well. Heads up, if you drop it, hold the light button for 5 seconds and it fixes it.During the times that I do not have to use the light, it sits in my pocket. Sometimes, the light button gets clicked. You'll know its on within 5 minutes. I usually keep my mode on turbo as you never know when you need to draw and blind someone. Within 5 minutes of the light being in your pocket, you will burn a hole in your pants and feel the burn on your leg. A minute ago, my pocket was smoking as the light burned my pocket's sewing thread from the repairs of the previous burns.If you use this as a security guard, I highly recommend you get a flashlight holder and leave it there.

An amazing work light! The engineers at Klarus definitely did a good number on this design and I hope they keep up the amazing work! Bought four of these to include in my vehicles and in my toolkits. Talk about detail!!PROS:WHITE LED FLOOD LIGHT WITH 3 MODES- Starts the cycle with Medium, then High, then Low. Usually medium is what most people need, followed by high and then low before restarting the cycle.WHITE LED FLASHLIGHT WITH 2 MODES- Starts the cycle with High then Medium.- You can use the flashlight LED without folding it out. There's a hole in the base where the flashlight shines through.RED WARNING LED- Could be used for reading in the dark without giving your location away or as a warning for others.RED FLASHING LED- Usually used to mark a hazard like a broken down car without lights, direct traffic or get someone's attention.USB-C CHARGING PORT- I have to say that I'm impressed what they did here. You can charge this light either using the included USB-A to USB-C cable or with a USB-C to USB-C cable (not included).- Just some background to make sense of what's being said here. USB-C in itself works differently than previous connector types (USB-A, mini-USB, micro-USB). The older connector types from a charger perspective are always powered whereas the ports on USB-C chargers only power once the microchip inside the charger and the device being charged negotiate power requirements before sending power out of the charger through the cable to the device. That is exactly what is happening with this light and I thank the engineers at Klarus very much for doing so as this alleviates me having to carry around a USB-A to USB-C cable...and the fact that I've migrated over to devices that only use USB-C cables.- This little detail while may not seem obvious is a big deal and it's not mentioned in the product details because its a feature of the USB-C standard. So from personal experience, I've come across plenty of USB-C devices that do not allow you to charge them with a USB-C to USB-C cable and that's because the maker of said device is looking at ways of cutting corners from putting in the necessary circuitry to make it work properly and simply throw in an inexpensive little USB cable. Klarus did it correctly and made it so you can use either cable. Klarus includes the USB-A to USB-C cable for those who are in transition to USB-C or who may have an older charger they'd like to throw in with the light to make a kit rather than purchasing a charger.STATUS LEDs- The status LEDs by the switch provide good feedback on the status of the battery level while in use or charging. This is definitely a must have to know where you stand with power.MAGNET- The magnet is pretty good on the light and I'm glad. Many lights out there usually have a weak magnet which makes it annoying having a light fall or not stay in place.BODY- The light is made of high quality plastic which will prevent it from cracking or breaking easily. The housing of the flood light section is made of a combination of aluminum and a plastic lens. The aluminum acts as a heatsink to wick away the heat produced by the bright flood LED. LEDs produce heat and to produce bright light, there needs to be a way to keep the temperature down from burning out the LED.- The foldable section is amazing. You can adjust it in so many directions which is very useful in certain situations.- Size is perfect, not too small and not too big. Can fit anywhere and be portable at the same time.HOOK- Hook is made of a good diameter piece of stainless steel rod. Easy to use and put away without any worries about corrosion.CONS:- I can't really think of any to be honest because what is necessary has been done with this light design. The previous version of this Klarus light had a micro-USB port and with the newer revision they've upgraded it to have a USB-C port which awesome!NICE-HAVES:- An optional charging base where you can magnetically attach the light and it would either transmit power through pins or wireless charging. There could be three options of bases of single bay, dual bay and quad bay or just a single bay and then just daisy chain them together through cables.- Possibly a larger version of this light that would be brighter, more battery capacity, etc.- Possibly a holster that can be velcroed, hooked or clipped on. Made of polyester. Elastic to fit snugly so it doesn't fall out. Uses a magnetic, velcro or clip on flap to further secure it. Can get creative here.

Elle est très petite donc on peut la glisser facilement dans sa poche.Franchement, départ, grande polyvalence et toutes ces qualités, je vous la recommande les yeux fermés, enfin façon de parler 😊Vous ne serez pas déçu(e). Seit über einem Jahr immer wieder im Einsatz, meistens im/am Auto, aber auch beim Arbeiten in der Werkstatt hat die Lampe bisher einwandfrei immer ihren Dienst verrichtet.Der Akku hat nicht nachgelassen, keine LED's bisher ausgefallen, bin sehr zufrieden.Die Lampe ist kein, leicht, sehr flexibel einsetzbar, zuverlässig und vor allem sehr hell, genau das was ich gesucht habe! 👌🏻👍🏻Daher werde ich mir noch eine weitere holen, die dann dauerhaft in der Werkstatt als Maschinenleuchte eingesetzt wird. 👍🏻
