not well packed
Used this for insulation in the loft. Bought the 6mm version first but that was too flimsy, the 10mm is much sturdier and doesn't break so easily. The packaging was not good. it was just a sheet of cardboard wrapped around the boards leaving the ends exposed. All three of the packs had some had some damage to the ends of the boards and one of them had holes in the cardboard.

Great Insulation
Used these to add insulation to the inside of an asbestos roof on my duck enclosure. The old roof was prone to condensation below 7°c so added these panels with a 5cm air gap between them and the roof then stuck Mylar sheets to the underside as a vapour barrier. The result was a +3°c inside temperature. Raising it from +2°c v outside to an average of +5°c.The dew point of the ceiling has changed dramatically and even in sub zero temperatures outside there is only a fine mist of condensation on the Mylar. Anything above zero and there is zero condensation.Boards were very easy to cut to size where needed, mainly scoring and snapping with a Stanley knife or where slightly more awkward shapes were needed I used a hacksaw.I sat them on screws fastened into the rafters so didn’t actually fix them but I would imagine they could be screwed carefully to a wooden surface or possibly glued or otherwise stuck to a surface as long as you used an adhesive that doesn’t damage the material.

Great product for simple insulation
I bright these to insulate a metal garden shed. Easy to cut to size and simply stick in place. Keeps condensation out (as I wanted) and also keeps shed feeling warm inside! Very pleased

Cutting can be tricky.
I used this to line an upstairs wall that tended to get moisture forming in winter as it's an older house. Worked a treat. Also insulated the loft hatch with it in the same room. I was using a stanley knife to cut it which was quite difficult keeping it straight on a full length cut. Blade tended to wander a bit off the line. Maybe just me.

Ideal for my purpose
I bought these XPS boards to insulate a Garador 3C up and over garage door. The gap between the door skin and the cross bracing was exactly 10mm so these boards were a good interference fit. With a new Stanley Knife blade, they cut easily and I found that a score line was enough, as they would the reliably break along the score. It's made an immediate 3⁰C difference in the temperature of the garage, which will improve further once I've fitted the top and bottom draught excluder.Overall a good, if fairly expensive product.*Every product I review is purchased with my own money. Effective but of variable quality
Ideal for my purpose as they were going to be installed out of sight in a roof space and not given a final covering. However the surface finish was variable, with some nice and flat but others rippled on both sides (50%) with variable thickness. Looks as if the manufacturing machine had a bout of the stutters. If 2 flat surfaces and accurate thickness are essential then I would suggest ordering double the quantity and sending back the distorted ones.I also ordered 6mm boards, which were perfect, so I know a uniform finish is possible.

Used this to line my pond's walls.
I used this to line the walls of the pond that I have constructed over the present virus period. The item was easy to use and cut and did an excellent job of covering the rougher surfaces of the wall that I had constructed prior to placing the underlay (pond liner) down. It did an excellent job and I was pleased with the results. Would recommend for people who are willing to think outside the box for solutions that they may find in projects that they have.
