Doesn’t fit
Cap is smaller for my 275 than the original part. All holes don’t align.

Alignment Issues, Good material & Finish
2006 Mercury 225.The material seems durable. The finish is a nice gloss.The rear 2 sets of screw holes line up but the front set did not. The front holes were about a 1/4 inch to far back. I ended up breaking one of the front holes. I was able to screw in the other but it will eventually break off like the other because it’s stretched.I’m not sure what goes into manufacturing this piece but $295 seems a bit steep for this….Overall I’m ok with this as it looks fine but the manufacturer needs to either check their quality processes or refit their models.
