Hydraulic power without the extreme sensitivity of a hydraulic system. Can much more easily meter your braking force. Applied braking force is more of an upwards gradual curve rather than a linear, steep straight line. Feathering the brakes on a downhill seems to be much easier than with a purely hydraulic system, yet still has the stopping power of hydraulic. They’ve worked flawlessly thus far. They were a breeze to install and set up, and they look good.

Great item! This was an easy install and upgrade to our e-bike. Our e-bikes had cable actuated disk brakes. With a heavy e-bike, this left a lot to be desired. We also tow a doggy trailer. It took a lot of force and distance to stop with the stock disk brakes. This was a simple and cheap upgrade. The stopping distance was reduced substantially. Just a note that these were used on 180mm disks using the stock mounting adapter, not the ones that came with these. Took less than 20 minutes per brake to install. I selected these because they use to stock brake cable, thus maintaining the motor cut-out and brake light. Highly recommend!

Work great. 1000% better than stock mechanical breaks. No hoses to to dry out or get ripped out from a crash or accidental drop and no bleeding necessary. I now can stop on a dime and get 9 1/2 cent change.

Great upgrade for my E-bike. Increased stopping efficiency

Got this set to upgrade / retrofit the mechanical brakes on a Haoqi Black Leopard circa 2022. Installation is easy, and the fit was perfect. Help yourself by having the right tools on hand - brake cable tensioner and cable crimp. With those, fine adjustment of the braking tension is easy. They are smooth and they are quiet. Total install front and back was about an hour.

After installation and bedding in the pads, the brakes work well with decent modulation and power. But the hybrid system is quite heavy, much heavier than quality Avid BB7 Mechanical brakes. The red anodizing is very attractive.

Fantastic! These are 100% better than the manual disc brakes my e-bike came with! Less effort on the squeeze of the brakes and they grab the disc and stop me about 15ft shorter than the old brakes would’ve…..worth the expense!
