Works like it should. Takes a bit of work to crank, so I would definitely recommend using a drill. Which leads me to- very cool that you can use a drill to raise it.

Needed these to replace my war-torn crank-up speaker stands. Purchased "As New," but the box came chewed up and the plastic knob that sets the tripod was broken in two. I purchased a replacement from On Stage that was an obsolete part, but the manufacturer made it right and now all good. 5 stars for On Stage customer service, 2 stars for the Amazon delivery team, LOL!

I bought it more than half a year ago. I only use it once a month. The quality is really poor.

I've had 2 of these for years and work great, howeverYou have to be careful with folding handles. I had someone helping me break down equipment and they broke one of the handles being careless. I have repaired it several times but internal parts keep coming loose and now I have lost the spring. I am going to purchase another one. I have used these every week at least once for 10 years. I do a Karaoke show and I am a part of a singing group and what they like the most is that even the girls can lift standard sized speakers. Highly recommend.

I have used these stands several times at my mobile DJ dances. They are very lightweight and function well. I use moderatly heavy Behringer 15" woofer speakers and the stands hold them well and crank up easily. No problems found and they were delivered quickly and didn't cost an arm and a leg. I would buy these again.

Love these! Easy set up and wonderful for a gal who at 5'1 , it's a struggle for me to get my speakers in place once the old stands were extended to the height that I needed. With these, I just set the speakers on them and then just crank them up to the height needed. Very sturdy made , smooth cranking, very pleased.

Bought this to raise roof of a four wheel pop up camper. Have an extra 70lbs on the roof and raises it easily. Can even attach a drill to the the handle and use it to raise the roof.

Very pleased. These are much more rugged than my other crank stands (Yorkville's), heavier and stronger. Great deal for the same money as the Yorkies, for much better quality.
